"Fine.." he said, "you want me to go in? I will." he said kicking off his shoes, "You'll probably just get amusement out of it..." he mumbled as he took off his shirt, "Hold this so at least I have one dry thing to come out with." he said.
Kacey laughed, "Yeah I probably will." She said, holding on to his shirt. The only reason she didn't want to go in there was because she honestly didn't know how to swim.
Ian looked around. He didn't want to just run in like a little kid. Instead, he noticed a rather large oak tree that had branches over hanging the lake. he ran over and climbed to the top rather easily, as if he'd practiced although he hadn't He walked out steadily on one of the branches and flew off the top and into the water. it was feezing on first impact and felt like tiny little knives pericing the skin. As he surfaced it got a little warmer. "There's fish in here..!" he called from the lake as he looked at Kacey on the shore ans started to swim on his back. "It's actually nice in here!" he said.
"I knew it! I knew it!" Kacey said, smiling at the water, "I would come in but........I can't swim." She said, leaning over a little bit watching him in the water. Now she wanted to come in, she really did but it probably would end up good.
Ian swam over to the shore, "wanna come ina little bit and slowly work your way in?" he asked, "I'll be there so you won't drown or anything.' he said, "you can go in like elbow deep or something." he said.
