For a moment, Michael seriously thought about that. It would certainly make things easier for him as well... Only not. He could already see more than one hand flying in the air and he recognized the look in the eyes of more than half of the class. None of them wanted to be here, just as any normal student didn't, and William's question has already caused enough trouble. If he let him go now he would never be able to stop the flood.

So, he got up, and got to his desk in about three long, angry steps. No. he said, not darkly, but sternly, just as any teacher would, as he took the phone from his hands and headed to the next desk of a student with a raised hand. I hate do this as if you were in high school, but as long as some of you insist on acting that way, so shall it be. You will get these he pointed at the six collected phones at the end of the class. And you will sit through the whole damn, class! he turned towards them again, a frown on his face, as his lips drew in a thin line.

I don't care about what you want or don't want. I don't care that half of you is bored, and the other half just wants to go suck the living air out of someone. I really don't care, for every single student ever was like that. What I care about is that this is school, and my class, and that you all need to hear this, no matter what you think. You might not like me he did not look at William, keeping his eyes on the whole class, but that was in the back of his mind, the fight. As it always was, now that he thought about it you might think it will not work. You might just want to get out of here. But the truth is half of you can't control your powers and the other half does not want them. Thus, you will glew your butts to these seats and you will listen to me!

Looking at their mostly chocked faces, Michael dropped his head, dragging his fingers through his hair.

And would you look at that...You made me give you a speech in the end.

I just realised that I don't have the faintest idea what should we do with them. Patch them up? Let them hate each other forever? What do you want to do? Also, in retrospect, this didn't turn out to be awkward at all. Why do the threads never go as planed?

<div align=center>William made a move to snatch the phone back, though wasn't quick enough in the end, and merely sat there scowling instead. "Not like I was in the middle of a conversation, that's fine." He muttered, pulling his knees up onto the chair and frowning. He hadn't really realized the commotion he had caused over the past few minutes, all he wanted to do was talk to his boyfriend. Though, he was a teenager, that's all they ever want to do. "Why not?" He looked up at Micheal, "wouldn't it get me out of your hair?" He asked innocently, in a blatantly sarcastic manner. "You're getting pretty pissed at me so just let me go hang with my good-for-nothing boyfriend, as you seem to think he is."

The room was beginning to give him a headache, there were too many people and they were all feeling more or less exactly the thing: bored. That was making poor William all too irritable, he didn't like being bored, he flinched when Micheal yelled though, Bill didn't like yelling. "Please don't shout." He murmured, hunching his shoulders and frowning a little, "if you're gonna shout I'll leave w.. Whether you like it or not." His demeanor had changed very slightly all of a sudden, judging by the stutter in the middle of his sentence.</div>

Looking at him, Michael really did feel sorry for yelling. You of all people should know I like yelling just as much as you do, k...William. he thought, narrowing his mind so that only William could hear him...if he wanted. He didn't know if there were other telepaths in the class, but he still did it, out of habit, if nothing else. He had gotten pretty good at both controling and protecting his mind after that fight between them.

And then, looking around himself a bit better, he could see that they were all bored and not listening to him at all. It was fairly depressing. He sighed, rubbing his eyes, as he went behind his desk and collapsed into the chair there. You know what, actually, go ahead. he said, waving his hand. Go on, scram, if you are that bored, thought I can't understand how 15 minutes will make any difference in your oh-so-busy lives... Come on, go. This is what you wanted, isn't it?

For some reason, nobody moved, and as he opened his eyes, he couldn't believe that he had actually succeeded in making a whole room of teenagers feel ashamed.

Um, uh... one of the gilrs in the first row blushed as she tried to speak. You...

You were saying something about the program. that calm student from the beginning of the class spoke, and suddenly they were all nodes.

And if it means anything, I am sorry about what I said then.

<div align=center>William let out a long, low sigh and leaned forward until his head hit the wood of the desk. I wish I'd been born with no emotions instead of too many. That would have been a useful power. No it wouldn't. You wouldn't love anyone. You wouldn't feel affection or happiness or that little fuzzy feeling you get when Gabe laughs. It'd be strange not to love people. Not to love his mother, his sister. Despite everything he still missed them, and that was an emotion he could definitely do without. He took a moment to push his chair out and tuck it in, before picking his things up and shuffling slowly across the room. He wasn't sure if he was leaving or not. He wasn't really sure what he was doing.

"If you want to make peace with me," he murmured quietly, his voice hardly breaching a whisper. "You should probably talk to him first." He frowned a little, staring at his feet the whole while. Though he wondered if that was a good idea, Gabriel could be fiery at the best of times and there was a rather high chance it would end up making things worse. "Can I have my cell phone back?" He asked quietly, "I need to talk to him."</div>

Michael looked at the clock with a corner of his eyes, and then shot a glare to the rest of the students again.

Glad you are interested, but I think I had cleary said-scram! he didn't yell, not with William so close, but he did put all the authority he could master at the moment in it and soon, the classroom was empty.

Here you go. he said, offering William his phone. Call him. And...

If you want to make peace with me...You should probably talk to him first...

Could he do it? Could he talk to Gabriel normally and try to fix this mess of a friendship? Well, he certainly did feel much more mature now than he did last year, and looking at this from this point, he could see that he had done wrong. So...

Tell him I'd like to talk to him as well. he said, looking the boy in the eye. Whenever he wants. Even if it's just to electrocute me. I'll just find a healer somewhere. A school this big has to have one.

<div align=center>William took his phone back and pushed it back into his pocket, he got the feeling the older boy was in lessons, but he didn't particularly care at the moment and he knew that he'd answer either way. "Thanks," he murmured, the boy seemed altogether rather melancholy all of a sudden. He adjusted the position of his little foil hat and forced a small, weak smile in Micheal's general direction. He turned to leave, before shaking his head a little and glancing back, "I'm not sure what you ever had against him." Bill's brow furrowed ever so slightly as he spoke. "He's a good guy. He's the best guy."

He met Micheal's eye again and squared his jaw, a wave of anger flooded through the boy and his hands curled into fists. He still didn't understand what had triggered Micheal to fly off the handle, things had been going so well and then... Bill hadn't really been sure what had happened. He frowned, tensing up and shaking his head. "I don't get it." He sighed, "you seemed so nice." He pouted a little, "such a shame you couldn't look past my romantic choices. You in love with me or something?" He added a short trail of laughter to the end of his sentence.</div>

Not quite. he said, looking at the boy while tapping the pen his fingers have somehow find against the surface of the desk. But I think that I was addicted. he continued to speak, trying to properly remember his feelings from back then. He had come to this conclusion some time ago, but as there was nobody close enough to share it with... And that was the problem, wasn't it?

And I would say 'don't get that the wrong way' but there isn't really a good way to get that, isn't it? he said, giving a small, dry smile. You see, it was just that you could read my thoughts, and didn't mind that I didn't want to talk, and went with me to that stupid cliff jumping trip, and... I just got attached. Like a puppy. he snorted, remembering himself. Was it possible to grow up so much at twenty five in just under six months?

And then you come crying and I get this silly little notion in my head that he had hurt you... And I bite. he said, breaking the tip of the pen against the desk. I can see now that it was utterly stupid, though. he said, raising his head.

<div align=center>William sighed, at least he wasn't in love with me. That would probably have been a situation he certainly would have run away from. He was terrified when Gabriel first confessed to him- and he'd felt exactly the same. Love was not William's strong point, no matter how hopelessly romantic he was, and how devoted to Gabriel he was, he was still absolutely awful at being in a relationship. He was an awful problem to poor Gabe half the time, the boy had to deal with a lot. William was a sensitive boy, things that perhaps might not affect others as much affected him a great deal. He cried an awful lot more than most other people, which again, was usually left to Gabe to deal with, though only because William didn't really like to be around anyone else but him when his mind was in a bad place, which had become an increasing amount recently.

"That God damn boy is everything to me." The boy stated, "I have absolutely no idea what I'd do without him. No clue whatsoever." He shrugged idly, "I didn't really want it to happen like that... But it has.... And I put him through so much God damn shit that I should be straight up ashamed of myself." And all of a sudden William Beckett realized he was completely and hopelessly in love Gabriel and that there was absolutely no one on the planet that was anything like him. "I love him."</div>

Michael listened to William's words carefully, and somehow, at the end, he couldn't help but smile, though he really had no right too. Still, he let it shine for a brief moment, before stamping on it and pushing the happy feeling down.

I get it now. he said, with a more serious face. I probably got it back then too, it's just... he thought about it and shrugged. Let's just say that I had a few screws loose in my head, yeah? It will make things all that much easier. He was honestly ready to take the blame for the whole thing, because it probably was his fault anyway. Though he was still pissed that it was him who have William the Talk instead of Gabriel, but that was one more thought that was quickly pushed down and then burned into the ground. He didn't need William catching it now that it seemed like they could fix this whole mess.

So, if any of you wants to punch me, I won't run away. I will even allow Gabriel to electrocute me, as long as there is somebody with a bit of the healing abilities around. I don't feel like dying just yet, not when I have just finished college. he said, smiling, hoping that his joke would be understood the right way.

Also... he said, frowning again. If you ever change your mind, I'm pretty sure I can make you one of these in under an hour. he said, tapping at this pendant. It really works, I swear. You can ask the class I was in before yours. And while it does not help you control it, it does help. At least you wouldn't be so overwhelmed... He really hoped he wasn't crossing the boundaries with that, but he was worried.

<div align=center>Bill didn't think Gabe would hurt anyone. William had banned him from using his powers until he learned how to control them, anyway. He'd already done enough damage, though William wasn't about to roll up his sleeves and show Micheal that. That wasn't Gabe's fault though. That was my fault. That was true, it'd been more or less completely William's fault. He shook his head and pushed the thoughts out of his head though, poor Gabe still felt completely guilty over that accident. William didn't much like bringing it up around him. The scars weren't that bad though, the situation could have been a hundred times worse.

He shook his head, he didn't want a pendant. He didn't feel like it'd be very useful to him at all. He'd just have to learn to control it himself, learn to block people out without his foil hat. He'd gotten better at it, he could focus on a single mind without getting all that sleepy now, though usually that was Gabriel's mind, and he didn't put up much of a fight letting William in. He was doing alright for now with it, he just tended to stay around one person most of the time. He liked it that way though, William wasn't the kind of person to have a lot of friends, and those he did have he was distant with compared to the bond he had with Gabe, there wasn't much he didn't know about him, and vice versa really, for the most part anyway. </div>
