Aeta walked into the room, sitting down in a chair near the door but to the side, so that nobody walking by would notice him. He pulled out a sword, shaking his head. It'll be better for everyone if I do this. It will, Aeta. Have no regrets. Come on, be a man. So what if it costs your life? At least you're saving the rest of them from him. Right! Thats right! Thats...Thats right...Right? I dont know anymore.....I dont wanna die....I dont wanna leave Jaden alone....But....If I dont, everyone will die..... He sat there, half of him wishing for someone to show up and save him from his plans, the other half hoping nobody will show up until Nero and Gevurah arrived. I know it will work, it just will cost my life...But I can kill both of them and save everyone in the process.....

Jaden rubbed her face with her hands. She had a bad feeling in her stomach. A very, very bad feeling. Something was going to happen, she was sure of it. She was nervous, and scared, but she didn't allow it to show. Finally stuffing her hands into her pockets, she looked around, and looked at one of the doors to one of the rooms.

Well, it was just like the others. The young female opened the door and walked inside, glancing around for a moment. It hadn't taken her long to notice Aeta, and she looked at him. Alright, she was more than sure something was wrong now, because he didn't exactly look happy to her. "Aeta? Are you ok?" she asked him quietly, concern showing in her voice.

"Jaden...You have to leave, now...I'm going to kill Nero and Gevurah....And it'll be dangerous..If you stay this time, you'll die..." He got up and dropped his sword on the ground, throwing his arms around her and holding her close. "I dont want you to die...Thats why I have to do this...Even at the expense of my own life, I have to destroy them...."

Taking a stroll down the empty hallways seemed like a fun thing. Poking in and out and in and out of rooms, looking around, and doing nothing. His classes hadn't started yet, so he was up here doing nothing. He needed a goal. He needed one, or else he'd have no purpose in life, nothing to do.

Stephen stuffed his hands in his pockets abruptly, briskly walking through the cobwebs. He coat dragged at the empty silence, his eyes downcast on the floor, his mind wandering.

"...kill..."

He stared ahead at the hallway; there was no one there. His acute hearing couldn't help but pick up one of his most despised words in his entire vocabulary. He snapped open the door and looked inside, and the a couple was inside. Confused, he stayed at the doorway, giving a small wave at them if they saw him.

Hearing everything he had just said completely shocked her. She was silent for a while, and she hugged him back tightly, trying to put her words together before she said them. If she didn't, they would probably come out all jumbled, and, well, it would be better if he actually understood her. "You idiot..." she finally said. "I love you! Why would you go and give up your life, even if it killed them? There's got to be a way where you can live without them living, there has to be..." She paused for a moment, hugging him even closer. "And if you think I'm going to leave you, you're wrong. If you need help, I want to stand here, right by your side. I refuse to abandon you. Even if it would mean my death as well..." She didn't continue the thought. She was going to say that even if such a thing would mean her own death as well as his, then it would be a good thing... because, to her, life wasn't complete without him.

Her hears picked up footsteps, and she turned her head around in time to see someone in the door way. Oh, how absolutely marvellous. Someone had heard this conversation. This private conversation... at least, she thought it was private. Oh, well; maybe this person could make him come to his senses if she couldn't, or at least help out if he wouldn't let her. Though, it wouldn't matter if he didn't let her — she was going to help him fight whether he liked it or not.

"Hi..." she said in return to Stephen's wave, wondering exactly how much of this he had heard.

Aeta shook his head. "Why cant you just understand....." He felt a tear slide down his cheek, and he hugged her tighter. "Even if I die, I'm more of an artificial being. It doesnt mean I wont ressurect in the future...It wont be the last you see of me.." He trailed off, not saying it, but knowing that from his tone she would realize this see him in the future would be years and years later.

Still confused, he decided to stay out of this converation.

Kill, who? And kill what? It's either mushy gushy romantic things that he (used) to like parodying in most of his poems or best friends about to die. Well, he didn't understand. And the other person who didn't wave at him didn't notice he was there, so he was good. If the one who waved at him didn't notice him...

And seeing that tear roll down his cheek was all it took for the little water droplets to start coming from Jaden's eyes as well. Wow, she was actually crying. That was something she hadn't done since she had gotten to her old school. Well... she supposed that was good. She was breaking away from them even more.

"....It wont be the last you see of me..."

Even if he did resurrect, she didn't know when it would happen. "But what if it takes years?" she asked him quietly, shaking her head. "I can't live without you for that long, Aeta... I love you..." She paused for a moment. "Why can't you understand that I want to — no, I have to — fight with you? How can you expect me to just stand to the side and watch this?!"

She didn't bother to turn around to explain this to Stephen. How could she? She was far too busy trying to talk Aeata out of this. Besides, even if she did turn around to talk to the other male, what was she supposed to say? 'Oh, hi, my boyfriend is about to sacrifice himself to save us all'? That wouldn't exactly work.

A voice echoed down the halls. "You, boy.." It said, obviously referring to Stephen, since the voice, which was Nero's, knew the names of Jaden and Aeta. "You may want to leave...Before Venvi and Vanvi decide they want to kill you...." Nero laughed, relieved that this hallway was wide enough for him to use his Scythes. Gevurah stood behind him, shaking his head. He would have just killed the boy without warning.

Aeta's eyes grew wide. "There isnt time! Get over there, out of the way if there is fighting!" He pushed her towards a far end of the room, where there were boxes for her to hide behind.

'Oh, this just reeked.' People. With weapons. And he called him boy when he looked almost the same age as him.

And it's not like he liked to call up say, a thunderstorm out of nowhere inside the hallway. Plus, it seemed like that other's fight, and he needn't do anything. Just enough to get away.

Stephen ducked into the room, away from the menacing weapons, behind the other male. He wasn't exactly a coward, but he didn't like throwing himself into a situation without knowing exactly all the points. For now, it included weapons, killings, and death. Not anything he could do, really.

He chanced a statement, mostly directed to Aeta, "You can take on both? Or do you need some help?"

It was a two on one fight right now, and he didn't think it was fair. Plus, he wasn't about to let someone die in front of him; what if he was framed? Okay, those were self-centered reasons, but also, unlike of himself, he thoughts about what the girl had said. A bit of a romantic, he personally hated people breaking apart just because of a death.
