Adrian Entre

There lives two wolves.
Two distinct voices.
Each telling me to make different choices.
How am I supposed to know which one to pick?
Quite honestly, the stress of it all is making me sick.
Is the right answer instilled in us?
In our heart and in our brain?
Or maybe two voices is all it will take to drive someone like me insane.

APPEARANCE

To be frank, Adrian doesn't look like a person you want to go up to and say 'hi' to. To be even more frank, Adrian doesn't look like much of a.. nice person. His upturned reddish eyes seem to be in a permanent glare, his messy hair spiking down in some places between them.. his down-turned mouth in a seemingly constant frown.. no, Adrian doesn't look like an outgoing person, at least the majority of the time. He'll sometimes tame his wild mane of black-and-white hair, or straighten his semi-formal clothing choices; these are when he's decided to go for a more polite outlook. Although, as the chances are, you'll just meet the former.

PERSONALITY
Adrian's personality is usually, just as he looks. Not too social, quite reserved, distrusting of others... he doesn't have many (any) friends. He'll try to drop conversations to those he doesn't feel like dealing with, have a sharp tongue towards those who bug him.. but that's just one side. He's perfectly capable of being polite when he feels like it, to those he feel deserve it. He decides on a first judgement which demeanor to use; if they're mean, he's mean back, if they're polite, he'll be slightly less so. Those who are genuinely nice to him, those are the people he prefers. Those are the people that see the nicer Adrian.

He'll try to blur the lines of his two distinct personalities a bit; he may be polite more or less often. Although, this depends on his mood. Those who are around him a lot usually can see the stark difference. If this topic is brought up, he'll drop it.

SPECIES ABILITIES
Inheritance. Being a son of both an angel and an ankou, Adrian received abilities from both.

Ankou traits: Adrian can shadow-travel to and from different shadows on the island (along with sensing their positions). This is similar to teleportation, but only in quite dark regions (I.E, a person's wouldn't quite offer enough, while a tree may if it is thick enough) After shadow traveling, he will get very tired, more so depending on the distance. 50 feet won't have much of a noticeable effect, a kilometer or more will make him very tired; doing long-distance travel will make him nearly feint. After shadow-traveling he has to wait about 15 minutes, while if he does not wait, he may danger himself and get stuck in the shadows. He is extremely vulnerable to holy magic while teleporting (if the shadow he is teleporting to/from is hit with it), and will likely instantly die if it hits him. He doesn't use this ability that much, however -only when convenient.

Angelic traits: Adrian may summon angel wings. They will sprout from his shoulders, naturally. He may fly up to 50 feet in the air; any higher is unstable for him. He may fly for up to ten minutes at a time, after which he must land and take a break. Like shadow-travel, he does not use this ability all too frequently. Most likely so he isn't often reminded of his parents.

Semi-immortal: Adrian is semi-immortalish. He ages physically at a regular human rate to the age of 21, after which the aging is halved. If he is killed by regular means, he'll be reborn six months later in the same body, but forgotten everything besides himself and surroundings, at the age of 21. On the other hand, if killed by holy magic (which he is also particularly susceptible to), he will die permanently.

HISTORY
Adrian was born in France. His parents, although starkly different supernatural species, loved each other quite a lot. Although, after Adrian was born, they began to argue. They both had duties, and Adrian couldn't switch between the realms of heaven and hell quickly enough. Therefore, Adrian was eventually and inevitably forced to choose between his two parents; their two realms. And the choice would affect the rest of his life. Quite needless to say, Adrian was stressed. A lot. He had to pick one or the other, A or B. He couldn't do it. He went on his own, leaving both parents to their own realm and duties. With nowhere to really go, Adrian was a bit lost in life. Then he found the Island. He went there, and it relaxed him. It let him forget about.. everything. He loved it, but not necessarily the people there. but he'd manage.
