Kadasha was surprised at how big the room was. Her original bedroom was a lot smaller, but they also lived in a small house. The orphanage had large rooms, but she had to share with other kids. She let out an uneasy noise, looking at Noel. Was this really going to be her room? It looked too nice. And there were already so many toys on the shelves. Was this Noel's daughter's room? Did he have a daughter before she came along? Would that daughter mind if she slept in this room?
She was hesitant to go more than a few steps in, looking around, hardly believing that this was for her. It was too good to be true, wasn't it? It was too pretty. Too big. This was probably a mistake wasn't it?
The bed looked comfortable though, and there was a small shoebox that looked like it was a small bed. Was that... for Shay? Kadasha was unsure how to feel about it. She had always slept with Shay in her little arms. She didn't want to part with him.
