Ahh, Acting 101—Torix was so ready to start another fun class with fresh meat—er, new students. After spending some time doing his ‘stunt double’ work in Hollywood, it was nice to be back on Manta Carlos and back to teaching. It was a much more relaxing job than being torn to shreds in front of a camera, that was for sure…

Torix brought a fold-up table for his paper work to the ballroom, but there would be no desks or seats in his classes. Everyone had to sit in a circle on the floor—yes, Torix was one of those teachers. The ‘everyone sits in a circle so we can all become best friends’ teacher.

Torix, having set up rather early, took a look over his student roster. Some names seemed faintly familiar, but most of them sounded completely new to him. Meeting new students was certainly fun—even if it meant running the occasional risk of some getting a crush on him. Haha, yeah, that happened sometimes…

“It really is good to be back,” Torix said to himself as he stretched his arms up above his head. He was definitely ready to jump right back into Starlight Academy!

Einar had beein in one of his mellower moods that morning, when a faculty member had summoned him to his office and tried to explain to him that if he was going to be signed up as a student, he would actually need to attend some classes , so his only reply to that was Yeah, sure, fine. He couldn't have been bothered with more.

A few hours later though, he was bristling with irritation. Why would he have to do something as idiotic as theatre? Acting was a fool's job in his opinion, and the fool's entertainment. And he was certainly no fool.

There was nothing he could do about it now, though, as he had already agreed to it that morning, and he would not go back on his word, no matter how silly the matter or how irritating the promise. Thus, he soon found himself in the Ballroom where the class was supposed to be held, still gritting his teeth but there.

There seemed to be none else there, however, but one person and a desk. No chairs, no tables, and certainly no other students yet. He approached the table warily, still fighting with himself a bit, and simply stopped there, staring at the only person present.

Lucy had many interests in her life, but the manner in which she acted on them varied between their inherent "usefulness" to her situation and reassurance that such would pay off.

She journeyed to Starlight Academy for it's location, she had information that what she's been looking for is on these very islands. Back home she was a straight A student, a lover of learning and especially of literature. By extension, she loved plays and an acting class fell into her interest, but she determined that it would be of use in the long run.

She felt that she was skilled at hiding her emotions, but past experiences told her otherwise. Perhaps she'd learn something about that here. She made her way to appointing classroom. In order to not attract attention, she wished to be the third or fourth person who entered despite being quite early. She attempted to hide her intentions, looking into a paperback in the hall.
