Since Shasta had come to the school and met Sagari the first night they'd developed a strong bond and often spent a lot of time together. Today they had trecked up to the mountains for some fresh air. Sagari had gained two pounds and was desperate to loose the weight. Shasta couldn't understand what her problem was...Sagari already looked like a stick.

Sagari was entertaining herself from doing acrobatic tricks from tree limb to tree limb while Shasta carried Arty and talked happily with him.
Arty, I don't understand that girl. She was so upset about those two pounds this morning and now she's as giddy as ever!
She looked down a the small bear and smiled, he was wise for being a plushy.
No one understands Sagari. Because no one is like her. The same goes for you and me. In time though, you will become acquainted with her quarks.. he said and Shasta sighed, sometimes his answers were completely plain yet cryptic at the same time. Like a fuzzy oxymoron. Shasta walked over to a large rock over looking a ravine and set Arty on the boulder. She wrapped her big black sweater more tightly around her as a wind blew forcing her pony-tailed hair to dance in the wind.
Hey Sagari, come look at this view. she said and Sagari hopped down and looked out across the valley.
It's beautiful out today, isn't it? Sagari remarked and Shasta only nodded her head in agreement.

Brielle made her way up the mountains. She'd only been at the school for a short while, but she didn't want to meet any people yet.

Oh, drat. There were already two girls there. One was in a tree, and the other was talking to...a bear? Brielle shrugged. Maybe if she ignored them they wouldn't strike up a conversation.

She sat down on a rock and crossed her legs. She looked down at her nails, painted black as always. She ran her fingers through her long, red hair, then closed her eyes and just started thinking about nothing, at all.

Shasta looked over at the girl and shrugged. The girl obviously didn't want to be bother she was turning around when she saw Sagari do a front hand spring out of her peripheral vision and start moving towards the girl.
Shasta tapped her head with her palm and mumbled something under her breath.
great...does she have to talk to EVERYONE?! She returned her eyes to the view and would only interject if things got out of control.

Sagari smiled when she saw the girl and ran over to her. She sat down in front of the girl and smiled a full smile that reached to her eyes.
Hi! My name is Sagari Nianya! What is your name? she said and widened her grin a bit waiting for the girl to reply.

Again, he was doing as his alternate side said. Tristan had wanted to come up here, so he had to do it. He didn't want to — no, definitely not. This was better than not being in control, though, so he would learn to deal with it. It wasn't going Damien looked around, which might seem impossible to those who saw him, since his hair was pretty much covering his entire face. He was used to it, though.

Surprisingly, his other half wasn't commenting on anything. And, of course, just as he thought that, his darker half said something.

Oh my, would you look at that! PEOPLE! This should be pleasant, no? Let's see if we can make them think you're crazy, shall we? he asked with a laugh.

"Shut... up..." Damien said quietly. He was far enough away from the other three so that they hopefully wouldn't have heard him. Now all he had to do was try and keep calm so that his other side didn't succeed. He had been in this school for a while now and he still didn't have any friends... well, he supposed he should have expected it.

The girls seemed to be talking to each other. One looked like she wanted to be left alone, but another had gone up to her anyway, so it was pointless for him to try and stay silent. As he looked to the third one, she seemed slightly annoyed... might be best to leave her alone.

Fighting back his shyness, the young man walked over to where Brielle and Sagari were. He looked between the two for a moment, hoping he wouldn't be interrupting anything important. "Hi," he said quietly, his speech having a slight accent to it.

Brielle jumped slightly when the girl spoke. "I'm Brielle." There was a slight drawl on the 'r'.

She saw the boy walking towards them. Oh no! More people! She thought annoyedly. Anti-social was practically her middle name.

She squinted when the boy spoke. She caught a faint accent, but 'hi' was so short, it was impossible to tell what kind of accent. "Hi." She replied.

Sagari smiled when Brielle replied to her and her smile grew even wider when the boy showed up. This was her lucky day! Two new people! Oh joy!
She stood and held her hand out to the boy.
Hello! My name is Sagari! What is your name? She stood with her hand outstrechted waiting for him to reply.

Shasta's empathy kicked in and she felt the girls irritation and the boy's shyness and his want to be alone.
She felt bad for him. She had never known what it was like to not want to have friends. She had always been social. She took in a deep breath and smiled at Arty, as if to say, I'll be right back.
She walked over to them and stood her arm on Sagari's shoulder.
Hi, my name is Shasta McEwen. I'm sure she has already introduced herself. she said nodding her head in Sagari's direction, and Sagari just turned her head to Shasta and grinned.

The young man looked at Sagari's outstretched hand and shook it, offering her a small smile and returning his hand to his pocket. "I'm Damien," he said. "Nice to meet you, Sagari." His French accent was more clear now, seeing as how he had spoken more this time. Alright, so far so good. He wasn't talking to himself, he wasn't stumbling over his words... but he was sure he would end up doing one of those sooner or later.

As the other female came over, he felt a little bit uneasy, since he hadn't been around this many people in a long time. Maybe not having been around three people in a long time was slightly pathetic, but it wasn't his fault he was always alone; it was Tristan's.

His brown eyes went to Brielle. It seemed to him that she was slightly annoyed, for whatever reason. Quite honestly, he didn't care to find out, so he looked down.

"Hi, my name is Shasta McEwen. I'm sure she has already introduced herself."

"It's nice to meet you, Shasta," Damien said, looking back up. Like before, he offered her a smile. He didn't repeat his name, seeing as how she may have heard it earlier, and he didn't want to repeat himself and look like an idiot.

He looked down again, unsure of what to say. He had never been good with conversations, really.

Sagari smiled at Shasta and then at Damien. Sagari ALWAYS got along with people, and loved talking to them but Shasta was a bit more reserved, especially while she was with Sagari. She felt the need to even them out a bit. So Sagari thought she would give Shasta the chance to meet a new person, also the Damien looked rather uncomfortable around so many people...even if there were only three of them. Sagari nudged Shasta's arm off of her shoulder and walked over to Brielle.
Hey, Brielle you wanna meet my friend Arty? He's super cute and fuzzy! she said and grabbed Brielle's arm to try and pull Brielle to her feet.

"I'm Brielle." She repeated, not really caring whether or not the second girl was talking to her. If any more people showed up...

She shrugged and looked down at the ground, as though it were the most interesting thing she'd ever seen.

When the boy spoke again, she looked up. She could tell his accent was French now. She didn't feel so unique anymore, since she knew someone else at the school had a distinct accent. "You're French, then?" She asked.

She stood up when the girl grabbed her arm and looked around. She didn't see anyone else. "Sure." She said with a slight shrug.

Sagari smiled and pulled Brielle over to the boulder where Arty was sitting. He was staring out at the valley completely still so he looked like the doll that he was.
She smiled at Brielle.
This is Arty! Arty this is Brielle! she said and let go of Brielle's arm to pick up Arty.
Arty looked up at Brielle with his brown eyes
It is a pleasure to make your acquantance Ms. Brielle. My name is Artan.

Shasta turned and watched as Sagari hauled the other girl off.
great. She's doing it again. Shasta thought. Sagari ALWAYS tried to get Shasta to meet new people.
So, Damien, how long have you been at the school? When she asked the question she wasn't facing him but turned back around to look at him with a smile on her face.
