"Hey, Brielle you wanna meet my friend Arty? He's super cute and fuzzy!"

Two of them were leaving? Oh, thank goodness! He didn't dislike them or anything, it was just that being around so many people was quite overwhelming. At least if two of them left he would be slightly more comfortable.

"You're French, then?"

Damien blinked, not having expected that question, but nodded anyway. "Yes, I'm French," he answered her. It was obvious from his accent, but he supposed she was just asking to make sure.

As Brielle and Sagari left, the young man watched them, then looked to Shasta when she spoke to him. "Umm..." he began, trying to think about how long he had been there. "The beginning of January, I think. Seems like longer, though. What about you?"

Of course it seems like longer. You don't do anything, after all, Tristan said, finally deciding to annoy his other half slightly.

"Yes, I'm French,"

"Awesome! My mum was French, but my Dat was British, hence the accent." She said, though she was a few feet away. It seemed as though her shyness had dissapeared somewhat.

It is a pleasure to make your acquantance Ms. Brielle. My name is Artan.

Brielle raised an eyebrow. The doll was talking? "Nice to meet you, Mr. Artan." She said.

Shasta smiled at the exchange between Damien and Brielle, it seemed like everyone could open up to one another at this school.
She looked up at Damien, since January, huh? Around the same time as her probably then, and she hadn't seen him once before today.
I've been here since around the same time. I know what you mean, although I get drug around by Sagari everywhere. Some of the trouble we get into makes it seem like I've been here my entire life. she said with a chuckle. When she was with Sagari they seemed to get into the most interesting situations.
Shasta shifted on her legs, standing was becoming uncomfortable.
She moved over and sat on the boulder that had formerly been occupied by Brielle, she looked up at Damien.
Would you like to sit down? Or stand. Whatever is comfortable.

"Awesome! My mum was French, but my Dat was British, hence the accent."

And you really think we care...? was Tristan's comment.

Oh, yay, another French person! Damien smiled somewhat, ignoring his other half. He wasn't feeling as entirely alone as he had earlier. "Cool," he said, then went silent, not knowing what else to say. He turned back to Shasta once she started speaking.

"I've been here since around the same time. I know what you mean, although I get drug around by Sagari everywhere. Some of the trouble we get into makes it seem like I've been here my entire life."

She had been here since around the same time? The boy didn't bother to wonder why he had never seen her around. Never going anywhere or talking to anyone was why he barely knew anyone and didn't have any friends.

He chuckled softly as well when she mentioned that they got into a lot of trouble. "That sounds fun," he said. "How long have you and Sagari known each other?" They seemed like good friends, so he just wondered if they had known each other for their whole lives or not.

"Would you like to sit down? Or stand. Whatever is comfortable."

Damien shrugged. He sat down on the ground, even though he probably could have managed to sit down on the boulder. It just would have been slightly awkward to him to sit next to her. "Hehe. I like the ground. It's comfortable," he said with a soft laugh. It really was comfortable, albeit a little cold.

.... You're an IDIOT... Tristan said with a sigh.

"Ha, well so are you," Damien replied quietly to his other half, having forgotten for a moment that he was trying not to do that. Oops.

Shasta let out a laugh assuming Tristan had referred to her as comfortable. He was funny.

Shasta didn't even need to think about when she had met Sagari, she was the person she'd met when she came here.
I met her the first night I came here. She was walking around on her hands talking to her bear. It was the oddest thing I had ever seen in my entire life, but I became fast friends with her and her bear, Artan. It's hard not to like them, they're both so full of life and enjoyable. They hook you and pull you in.
