Avil was bored, a common issue in today's day and age. She’d decided to go out people watching, but even in a place filled with supernatural creatures such as this, it could be boring.
”How annoying…” She said, heading into a nearby cafe. The place was packed, with only one empty table in the corner. As she was heading over to take it though, a voice caught her attention. She couldn’t pin the reason why, but she liked the sound of it. And when she couldn't pin the reason for it, it was almost always one thing in a place like this. Some supernatural ability. There were several things that might have this effect though, not that it really mattered.
”It’s cool. Takes more than an aura to bother me.” She smiled playfully, turning to look at the boy. He seemed about her age, red eyes, black hair, pale skin. Something about him seemed familiar, though she couldn’t care to remember. A name would likely make it pop into her mind.
”Name’s Avil. Nice to meetcha!” She said, extending a hand, though this action would have deeper effects. If her were to take it, she would dissolve some of the dead skin and oils on the outside of his hand, breaking them down and adding both his dna and musk to her database, allowing her to easily identify him, even if he had already left somewhere. It would feel like a quick tickling sensation, not much to be suspicious of. She didn’t even have too much reason to do something like this, beyond her hate of being uninformed.
