Erands to run, such things didn't change it seemed, he tried to get back into his normal routine as much as possible since the attacked had happened. Things had definitely changed though, with him, things with his family, things had changed.

Today he had a few bags, just some things he needed to pick up, he was pretty much finished today, so he decided to grab a snack. He found a restaurant quickly enough, but was a little hesitant to join given his aura, I'm the end he gave I'm and entered.

It was almost completely filled, one empty table in the corner, the he noticed a girl. Small but she looked his age, "so uh....you can have the table if you want," he said giving a friendly smile. "I got an aura so I'll understand if you don't want to share." @Demonicmuffin

Avil was bored, a common issue in today's day and age. She’d decided to go out people watching, but even in a place filled with supernatural creatures such as this, it could be boring.

”How annoying…” She said, heading into a nearby cafe. The place was packed, with only one empty table in the corner. As she was heading over to take it though, a voice caught her attention. She couldn’t pin the reason why, but she liked the sound of it. And when she couldn't pin the reason for it, it was almost always one thing in a place like this. Some supernatural ability. There were several things that might have this effect though, not that it really mattered.

”It’s cool. Takes more than an aura to bother me.” She smiled playfully, turning to look at the boy. He seemed about her age, red eyes, black hair, pale skin. Something about him seemed familiar, though she couldn’t care to remember. A name would likely make it pop into her mind.

”Name’s Avil. Nice to meetcha!” She said, extending a hand, though this action would have deeper effects. If her were to take it, she would dissolve some of the dead skin and oils on the outside of his hand, breaking them down and adding both his dna and musk to her database, allowing her to easily identify him, even if he had already left somewhere. It would feel like a quick tickling sensation, not much to be suspicious of. She didn’t even have too much reason to do something like this, beyond her hate of being uninformed.

She smiled playfully at him and he couldn't help but return it with one of his own and a small chuckle. "I'm Aaron Malivani," he'd take her hand and shake it, if she was a student she would have definitely heard of him, the rumors and bullying. "It's good to meet you," he'd smile, hoping she didn't care about the things she'd heard, some were quite nasty. That said, she was reacting surprisingly well to the aura.

"You don't mind sharing the table with me?" he wanted to make sure, between the aura and the rumors many people were avoiding him. She seemed nice, a part of him couldn't help but worry that his aura had some affect on that.

"We better grab that table if we're going to," he'd chuckle and motion to the table, "restaurant already almost filled." He'd give her another playful smile, it'd been a while since he'd gotten to sit down and talk to someone.

Her eyes narrowed slightly at his name. She had certainly heard of this boy. Rumors abound about him, not that these particular ones interested her. ”It's nice to meet you.” She said, looking at her hand once it had been released. This aura was something indeed. She’d have to keep an eye on herself.

”Don’t worry about it, I’ll be fine.” She said, sitting down at the table. So far this was going fairly slow, a bit boring, but it should pick up soon. Her twintails moved, picking up the menu on their own and holding it up for the girl, who casually tapped her fingers on the table. Eating out could be expensive, especially when you can hypothetically eat forever. As a slime, even an artificial one, it was in her nature to consume.

”This is always so difficult.” She muttered to herself.

As he followed her toward the table, his eyes darted around a bit at the people around. He felt afraid? He almost took a step back, his shoulders slumping a bit, it hadn't been long sense the attack, though no one really knew about it. Then he looked back to the girl, took a breath and kept walking, he missed his old life, he missed life before, he missed not being afraid.

He took his seat across from her forcing his smile to return, "thanks again, I haven't been out to eat for a while." Then he saw her pigtails pick up her menu, causing him to chuckle a little, "that's a cool trick, like having an extra set of hands." It was definitely handy, "I got a pair of wings but not much else."

"Having trouble choosing," he could tell that by her scent that she wasn't human, but couldn't tell much anything else. "Wish I could give some suggestions but I haven't come here before," he glanced at the menu, "that said, I did get paid recently, so how about I pay for it?"

”No problem. I was bored anyways. Food tastes better with company.” She said casually, smiling a little about his extra hands comment. ”I can do that too, This body is pretty handy. Though I’m not sure how I am compared to a true specimen.” She commented, a second pair of arms forming out of her back, waving at the boy across from her before being absorbed back into her body.

”I wouldn’t sell having wings short. Nor that aura of yours. Not sure what else you’ve got, haven’t really taken the time to check.” She commented, slipping something out she didn’t mean to, not that it mattered. Without knowing her abilities the slip up would only be confusing.

”For your information I’m a Slime, well kinda. I was born a regular human, certain events lead to me becoming like this.” She explained, casually glossing over the details of it.

Aaron laughed a little when the second pair of arms appeared, "that's really cool, could do some extreme multitasking with all those extra limbs," he said jokingly, his smile bright. "Wings are fun, it's nice getting to see everything from the air, especially the city at night," he didn't walk as much anymore, so flying was useful.

"Check?" he tilted his head curiously, "you can identify other people's powers?" He wasn't sure how he felt about that, buy it was what it was, "well...go ahead and take a look, besides my aura I just got some physical enhancements." He had super strength, and agility, plus his claws, fangs and wings.

"A slime, now that is cool," he said with a small grin, "now demons and vampires," he gestured to himself, "we're pretty common, but a slime, now that's interesting, don't know if I've ever met one before." The waitress appeared and took their drink orders.

”Well, I can only barely check. Really its just figuring out genetics by deconstructing DNA and comparing it to previous samples I’ve gotten. From there I can infer plausible abilities based on species and similarities to these other samples. Physical enhancements are the easiest to figure out, as often times they’d have a direct impact on the construction of the cell itself.” She started to explain, putting her hands together and stretching them out from eachother, a double helix structure stretched in between them as an example.

”Magic abilities can be a bit more difficult, especially generic magic, as thats all what you learn. I can estimate the magnitude of a persons abilities based on some genetic factors like mana in their cells, as well as other factors an ordinary person can use to judge anyones abilities, by watching the way they carry themselves, their age, all sorts of things can be factored into it. Overall, there’s only so much I can do with skin samples, I’d likely be able to figure out more with various other samples, such as spit and blood.” She continued. Noticing she was going on a bit of a tangent, Avil cleared her throat, the double helix splitting apart and absorbing back into her hands.

”As for slimes being rare, its likely due to the fact that most slimes are pimitive and animalistic, driven by instinct. I’m probably like this due to the fact I started out human, though I still have those instincts too.” She said, turning to the waitress and ordering. ”The primary one being the instinct to consume. If your still willing to pay, you’ve better steel yourself.” She said, giving him a sly grin.

Aaron would listen and watch, interested but in truth a lot of it was going over his head a bit, he'd always been an average student. "That sounds really cool," he'd chuckle a little, "remind me to come to you for science tutoring." The half vampire tilted his head, "you're really intelligent huh? Are you in college?" He wondered if her high intelligence was a power, she looked about his age, but he knew she could be much older.

"I understand the instinct part to an extent," opening his mouth, he gestured to his fangs, "I need blood to live, I've never had to go without really, but I hear vampires that do struggle with hunting instincts." He had other needs besides blood, but he wouldn't mention them unless she asked.

He'd grin back at her, "well I did promise to pay and I'm not one to back out on a promise." Aaron chuckled a little, "I just got paid, so it should be ok," as they didn't buy a feast or anything anyways, he had a job but it was just a part time thing like students often had.
