Roldan didn't back away but he didn't move any closer either. His eyes were bright fiery orange at this point as he stared hungrily down at Celeste. Finally however, he sighed and shifted. His wings and tail vanished as easily as they had appeared, leaving the only inhuman thing about him being his eyes.

"You're right. I'm sorry Celeste. I really ought to have more control than this. I-" he paused and laughed a bit, sounding nervous. "I should know better. You just make my heart beat so fast and I want you and I'm basically a kid."

Lowering her gaze slightly, Celeste found it hard to hold Roldan's intense gaze for very long without feeling the heat there and like he was going to eat her up. All of which made her pulse race and her stomach do flipflops of anticipation.

"It's okay... " she said softly, wanting to reassure him as she placed her hands on his warm chest.

"I think we are both to blame here," she admitted with a tiny smile as she gazed up at him again, still a little mesmerized by his eyes and how they had changed. It was fascinating really... "It's not like I didn't want you to kiss me, or I haven't thought about us...you know, together," she told him truthfully, trying not to be embarrassed by the fact that she did think about such things, and more often than she'd probably admit.
