"Bro, I think I found our last sibling. Come to the park asap and track me. I'll track them." The phone made a beep almost as soon as he'd said he was on his way and the call was terminated from the other end. Tadashi was left looking stupidly at the screen.
Our brother is here and Tomo knows where he is?
Tadashi was having trouble processing the emotions that came with that thought. It was a bit of a running theme in his life ever since he had flipped out and gone into half-cat, causing him to be sent to the island. His attempts to force himself to always remain calm had been less and less successful lately with all the drama. Most of the problems hadn't even been directly related to him but they were still affecting him. He was absolutely elated to finally get to meet his brother again after all the years apart, but both Tadashi and Tomomi had been sent to the island because of traumatic events. It was a worrying trend that he hoped with all his heart hadn't continued with their brother.
Tadashi snapped himself out of his thoughts and threw down the schoolwork he had been trying to catch up on. This was far, far more important to him than any school stuff. He ran out the door and before he even left the building he was in cat form running as fast as he could.
It took a little time and it was a little tiring but Tadashi made it to the park not too long after their phone call had ended. He slowed down to catch his breath and start searching for Tomo's trail. It took a long time, but eventually he caught wind of her and moved in that direction. As her scent got stronger, another scent caught his attention. This one was different enough that he knew it wasn't Tomo but it still brought back familiar memories. The cold winter living in an alley, crying as he tried to wake his mother, and being terrified as a man approached to take them all away.
Tadashi was getting tired but he pushed on towards the sources of those scents. No fatigue was going to stand in the way of being with his siblings today. "Tomo," he meowed loudly, "I'm here."
