Private A Surprise Housewarming

"Yes, I have been actually, your mom has been extremely helpful," Zoraida admitted a little sheepishly when asked about her budding friendship with Freiya.

"She gave me a few pointers and suggestions about what you might enjoy in your personal spaces," she explained as she looked up at Stefan and watched as he removed his mirrored sunglasses.

Zora had become patently aware during the whole decorating process that she did not know Stefan as well as she had thought. It was, perhaps, one of the few downsides of them moving so fast. Although, at the same time, Zora had really enjoyed learning about her boyfriend and seeing him through the eyes of others.

"Well, how about we start with the kitchen and then move onto the bedroom and bathroom?" she suggested as she disengaged herself from Stefan just enough so that she could take his hand and pull him into the small apartment (and now well-stocked) kitchen that had been outfitted with all the latest modern baby blue coloured appliances that had a vintage feel to them.

Zora just looked back at Stefan as she fiddled with the toaster that was on the counter and near the baby blue fridge.

"You don't have to do something big to surprise me, you know. Anything heartfelt is equally as good, or even better," she explained as she turned around to face him.

"Besides, anything you chose to do I am sure, I will love," she added as she brushed a lock of stray hair from her face. Stefan had never disappointed her so far and she trusted that whatever he did for her she'd appreciate.

Zora snuggled in close just enjoying Stefan's warm embrace as he hugged her tightly, and when her boyfriend suddenly picked her up and kissed her, she let out a surprised, but very happy sound.

"I am quite sure it was the opposite," she grinned. "It was you and your godly aura that made me use my wiles on you. How could I let another snatch up such a wonderful man? ...It's clearly your fault that you brought out the witch in me that day," she teased happily, reliving momentarily the day they had met.

"Why don't we have dessert? It's in the fridge," she suggested as she wrapped her arms around his neck and placed a soft peck on his lips, her lips hovering over his as she added with a grin. "Then we can check out the bedroom and bathroom."

"You winked at me behind mirrored lenses?!" Zora exclaimed in surprise as she immediately burst out laughing, having not realized this before now. It was seriously cute and funny at the same time, and she loved it.

"I had no idea," she remarked as she accepted the plate of tiramisu from Stefan. The dessert was one of the restaurant's specialties, besides it being one of her favourite comfort foods as well.

"You hid it so well," she teased as she placed a kiss on his cheek.

"Let's go try out your new furniture," she then suggested.

Taking the plate back to the front room, she sat down on the couch and waited for Stefan before she began digging in.

Zora just let out another giggle when Stefan pointed out the moment that it had happened. She remembered the moment now and had actually thought the demigod had been just joking around back then to entertain her.

"Very smooth," Zora agreed, trying not to grin or laugh as she agreed with her boyfriend. "So smooth I had no idea you were serious," she added with a smile.

As they ate dessert together, Zora sighed happily as she leaned sideways and against Stefan. "Tiramisu is one of my favorite desserts," she confessed as she took another spoonful of the delicious coffee and chocolate flavoured dessert that was laced with a hint of dark rum.
