Finally, a chance to take some time away from all that dreadful paperwork. It was such a boring task, having to fill out form after form, though he could understand why they have to have so much assurance when hiring a crossroads demon. Now that it was all out of the way, he could get down to business.
He gave a big stretch as he closed the door to his office, allowing himself the pleasure of unfurling his wings and allowing his horns to protrude their full length from his head. Much better. The stack of completed paperwork on his desk was quickly tossed into the new shredder he received from a friend, complete with a miniature lava pit inside to further ensure paper destruction. Damien could not help but watch with a slight smile as the pile burned with ease. Such release. With that he sat in his office chair, leaning back into it and summoning a parchment and quill to begin the process of making a syllabus. Best the children know what hell awaits them.
Clearly, they would need to be prompt and prepared, like any other class they would attend, but even more so since it was his. Of course, if they found themselves in need of certain encouragement perhaps he would indulge a few with a few.... amendments. So long as he made sure to include a line of contract secrecy then he would be perfectly fine to manipulate a student or two. Then again, with how these things go there surely has to be someone to completely fail the class, otherwise, the administrators might become suspicious of him. And with that, Lucifer forbid, they would bring a heinous amount of paperwork. No, that would not do. A simple agreement of class courtesy should be just fine.
Hmm... now, what to have for the course.
Perhaps the main focus on Inferno, with an optional book on minor laws. Something to get them thinking. Throw in a few exercises, maybe damn a mortal or two. When should that happen? Hm. The third Friday of each month sounds like it would be perfect. And what about a field trip, two should do it. One to introduce them to the depths of hell and another trip back to truly test their limits.
Alas, it was all coming together. He had already begun to receive enough applicants to schedule a few classes for the next week, although there were a few spots left. Oh, what turmoil and knowledge await them.
The demon began to dream on as he set his feet on his desk and pondered what wondrous chaos would unfold within the coming weeks.
