She listened, chewing her sandwich silently while Regina spoke. At the suddenly aggressive biting of the brownie, she flinched. "I'm sure with time you'll get better. Maybe if your instincts are different, then the way you learn is different too."

Remembering the rumours on how other students learned, Elisa thought of Regina literally "Hitting the books". "Maybe I can help you study?"

Hearing the mention of Relationships, Elisa had a small laugh, stuttering over her words. "W-W-well," Elisa thought of herself as straight, yet recently she wondered about it. "Not, sure," She said, sipping her cola. "I think I'd be regarded as questioning. High school classes are cool, though."

Help with studying could be useful. But Regina had read enough stories about this to know that 'studying together' didn't always mean studying together.

"That's really sweet of you to offer, hun," Regina said. "I'd love to spend some time with an upperclassman. And maybe I can help you figure out your questions too, while we're at it."

She smiled. "I actually know a lot about biology."

It was her best subject - which gave her plausible deniability here if she felt like she needed it.

Unaware at first what Regina was implying, Elisa just laughed along. "Yeah, that would help."

Realising what Regina was saying though, she paused, looking the girl up and down. As a boy, Eli was definitely straight, so Elisa definitely was into girls. "You can definitely help, then."

Smiling back, Elisa added. "And I'm good with chemistry."

"That's good," Regina said. "Maybe you'll be able to help me when they let me take tenth grade."

She would take a few bites of her sweets. Then she would giggle. "Unless you weren't talking about classwork."

Now, the bee-girl would be watching Elisa very closely. She couldn't believe that this had actually worked. She didn't believe her own senses - Elisa seemed so weirded out by her earlier, and Regina remembered, even if she had been trying not to think about it. Her advances had weirded people out before. Everyone thought she was too young. So now that she thought she was this close, she had to ask herself - was she really? Maybe she should back off.

Elisa laughed too. Her initial reaction seemed so distant. Maybe it was just the surprise at seeing someone there. How old was she though? Couldn't be much more than two or three years younger than her. Would she even receive Elisa's advances?

She giggled a little more, but she was scared now. Elisa didn't confirm anything - Regina was making her uncomfortable, wasn't she? That was a nervous laugh, wasn't it? Why did she always do this? Ugh! She should have played it cooler, taken it slower, stuff like that.

Regina tried not to let on that she was stressed out as she ate more from her dessert-filled tray.

Elisa looked around for something she could use to make Regina happy without being awkward. Would she like it if she tried to play with her Antenna? Probably not. "So, uh. Yeah. You are cute. I don't know how to speak."

Regina grinned, relieved. "You were fine. If your flirting was too much, then mine must have been way too much.

She thought she had been too obvious.

"... Do you want my number? We can talk about when you can have me over... For tutoring." A playful smile.

Regina wouldn't be able to host it, of course. Not after the last time.

Writing on her napkin, she handed it and the pan to Regina. "Sure, I'll take your number. I wouldn't mind your private tutoring." Elisa said in what she considered a seductive tone. using her time stop ability, Regina would feel the sensation of a kiss on her cheek. Not that Elisa had seemed to move.
