Jake was on one of the sofas with his earphones in, listening to music. He couldn't sit normally on it, though; no, he dangled his legs over the back of the saet and his head where his feet were supposed to go. Why sit the normal boring way?
He kept his eyes closed as the rythmic beats played, his friend, Liz, reading some boring book like she always did. Once she picked up a book, it was hard to get a single word out of her. However, he could make out muffled voices over the sound of his music. Opening his eyes and taking out one earphone, he looked at the boy she was talking to. A rare occasion, stopping mid way through a book.
The boy stumbled over one of his cases and Jake couldn't help but laugh. He was clumsy at times but that was usually only when he got nervous or in a crowd of people. When he walked over, Jake rolled his legs over himself to be stood in front of the sofa. He turned and introduced himself: "Hey, I'm Jake."
