"Mercy, mercy!!!"

"What's that?" He teased, "I don't think I can hear you!"

She tried swimming towards the shore, in attempt to getting away from Kotah's crazy fingers.

He grabbed only one of her feet so she can atleast keep herself above water on the other and started tickling it next.

She screamed playfully, and wiggled her toes, falling into the water. When she resurfaced, she swam over to Kotah, and started poking HIS ribs. Maybe she would be successful. She could only hope in her helpless tickilishness.

He cleared his throat when she started poking him, clearly uneffected. "You're really asking for it, arn't you?" He grinned wide, giving her a second to dash off.

Her eyes got big, and she opened her mouth wide, as if she was going to say something, but didn't, pushed away from him, and starting swimming as far and as fast as she could to the shore. She figured it would probably be a worthless attempt, he could probably swim fast than she could, but she was having fun, so she didn't care. She wooshed off and starting swimming.

He swam after her as soon as she hit the water. He laughed, despite the water trying desprately to fill his mouth. He kept up with her all the way, but grabbed her ankle as her hands hit the shore and pulled her back in.

Exhausted from all the swimming, as he pulled her back in, she spun around, and wrapped her arms around his neck. She whispered into his ear. "I'm defeated!" She laughed and rested, still clinging to Kotah for support.

"Ack!" He fell over backward into the lake when she jumped at him. He laughed a little and leaned on his elbows in the shallow water, the water spreading his black hair out behind him while a few strands glinted a very dark blue from reflecting light.

She giggled, and leaned against him in the water, and sighed. "I don't think I've had that much fun since I got here!" She laughed, and a butterfly landed on her nose. She kissed at it, and it flew away.

"Phew, I'm exhausted!" she said with a 'humph!"

He laughed, breathing heavily. "Same here," he answered both comments with one sentence. He scooted toward shore, sitting down in the grass, yawning. "I think I'm ready for bed again." He laughed at this, looking up at the sky. He sighed, regaining his breath. He opened his mouth to say something, but thought better and clicked his teeth shut.

She smiled, stood up and wrung out her dress, trying to get all the water out that she could.

"I feel like having some blueberries!"

She smiled curiously, and waved her hand, making a bush of perfectly ripened blueberries come out of the ground. She plucked a couple, and popped them into her mouth, laying on the sandy shore looking up into the midday sun. As she swallowed them down, she hummed and closed her eyes.
