Alex’s eyes rolled as Alice kissed her again and she eagerly kissed her back. Alex slide her right hand out of her lap as she turned to better face Alice and placed her hand on the small of her back, bracing her as she shifted her weight towards Alice. She found her right hand, maybe subconsciously but defiantly unintentionally, moving southward from Alice’s back towards Alice’s waist. Alex realized what her hand was doing once the kiss was finished and stopped, right at the top of Alice’s pants. She had to admit though, she had to admit, and she wanted to go further, but not without Alice’s consent.

“Yeah, defiantly.” Alex whispered back to Alice as they laid there holding each other.

Dreams. Some speak of vivid dreams, and yet still some privileged speak of lucid ones. Alice never liked to brag. Perhaps it was all of her observation, her attention, that made her swift to control her dreams. She found herself amidst the tables of black with white porcelain, the ice-waters sounding loud underneath the floor. Heavy footfalls strained the floor and she turned, seeing long blond hair out of the corner of her eyes.

“An Alice without a wonderland! It's the most curious thing I ever saw in all my life!”

“You got th'quote all wrong, it's--”

An uncomfortable twitch strained her words and then she regained the weight of her eyelids, felt a tug at her throat. She moved her hand up, knowing it to be the top button of her shirt. She probably turned oddly in the night. Her hand brushed hair and she opened her eyes in confusion, and found herself looking at Alex's closed eyes mere hairs away. It was Saturday. It was a new a day. She thought to herself, listening to sleeping breaths and chatty birds, what else could happen in the span of a day?
