A Nice Surprise for a Bored Eldritch

"That does sound reasonable and very logical," Ecta said as she floated calmly in front of Evbiony. 'We Eldritch are extremely powerful creatures. Although, we don't tend to form alliances with those outside our kind," she said in a simple, but not unkind tone.

"Unless, of course, the alliance in question affords us something we do not already have," she said with a smile that was somehow sinister and welcoming at the same time.

As Ebviony spoke Ecta continued to float and bob gently, almost with serene happiness, as they made her their offer. The knowledge that they were offering up in exchange for her helping them retrieve their "people" was something Ecta easily considered more than fair.

Knowledge was, for Ecta, the most invaluable commodity that existed, and one of the few things that brought her true happiness and satiated - momentarily - that hunger she had for learning all there was in the universe and beyond.

"What you offer is more than acceptable," Ecta said as she moved easily through the air with energetic zeal. "Are these problematic fairies you speak of somewhere nearby?" she asked Evbiony, now quite eager to fulfill her part of the pact so she could have the knowledge promised.

"Oh, yes..." Ecta hummed happily. "Numbers..." she continued pleasantly. "I do have a communication device if that is what you are referring to?" she stated. "Although, if you really need me just call out my name twice and I will come to you," she said with the same weirdly sinister yet welcoming smile as earlier before.
