Rain. Rain, rain, rain. So much... rain. As Imogen walked along the shore of the lake, it took a moment for her brain to register the fact she was slowly getting wetter and wetter. And then, she realized, something else.
I'm wearing all white.. Oh, no! She cringed as the rain began to fall harder. She put her hands over her head, protecting the long white hair that fell to her hips and was braided, tied, and clipped in various places to give an elegant look.
I could really use an umbrella right now, thought Imogen with a sigh. Then, struck by a sudden idea, she straightened. I could really use a red umbrella. With a plastic black handle, and a curve on the end. And a small button with a small finger groove inside it.. As she began to think more and more of the object, the more and more realistic it grew, until its image was clearly pasted into her mind lke a photograph. Then, at her feet, a blue flash of light illuminated the ground and produce a lone red umbrella.
Smiling to herself, Imogen plucked the umbrella from the ground, opened it from the small button with the little finger groove, and swept it over her head. She sighed with relief as the rain ceased to fall over her.

Petrova personally loved the rain, so the moment she noticed it was raining, she bolted out of the school. She skipped towards the lake, not caring if anyone saw her. She loved watching raindrops fall against the crystal waves.

She stopped when she saw a girl there. She looked very intent, and suddenly an umbrella appeared. "That was pretty cool." Petrova said.

Imogen turned around suddenly, surprised, then eased into a warm smile. "I could make another for you, if you'd like. It's no trouble." Then, remembering her manners, she bowed her head. "My name is Imogen! May I ask yours?"

Petrova thought for a second. "Sure. That'd be cool. If you don't mind." She extended her hand. "I'm Petrova. Pet or Peter if you like." She said.

Imogen smiled, shaking the girls hand gently. "Imogen," she stated plainly with a smile. In the other hand, she produced a second umbrella, green and silver in colour. She handed it to Petrovia. "You have a... a gift, too, right?"

"Thanks!" Petrova took the umbrella and opened it. "Yeah. I'm clairovoyant. It's not really fun or anything though. It kind of hurts." She said, a little vaguely. "Have you been here long?"

Imogen nodded. "Almost.. nine years, now. This place is the only home I have. I never really get out, though... Who needs outdoors when you can pretend your room is a grove?" She smiled and asked, "What about you? Sick of this place yet?"

"No way. It's really cool. The people are really interesting." Petrova said. "I don't know alot of them though." She rolled her eyes with a smile.
