Rain. Rain, rain, rain. So much... rain. As Imogen walked along the shore of the lake, it took a moment for her brain to register the fact she was slowly getting wetter and wetter. And then, she realized, something else.
I'm wearing all white.. Oh, no! She cringed as the rain began to fall harder. She put her hands over her head, protecting the long white hair that fell to her hips and was braided, tied, and clipped in various places to give an elegant look.
I could really use an umbrella right now, thought Imogen with a sigh. Then, struck by a sudden idea, she straightened. I could really use a red umbrella. With a plastic black handle, and a curve on the end. And a small button with a small finger groove inside it.. As she began to think more and more of the object, the more and more realistic it grew, until its image was clearly pasted into her mind lke a photograph. Then, at her feet, a blue flash of light illuminated the ground and produce a lone red umbrella.
Smiling to herself, Imogen plucked the umbrella from the ground, opened it from the small button with the little finger groove, and swept it over her head. She sighed with relief as the rain ceased to fall over her.
