Angelo didn't answer right away. Instead he stopped for a long moment, considering the not-quite-a-question, rolling it over in his head before finally answering.

"If I were you," Angelo said, "I think I'd get ahead of them. Ask Sprinkles if you can talk. Probably easier to assume they know then to act like they didn't. It... got around, unfortunately."

People had no doubt guessed Angelo wasn't going to be the kind of person to be interested in who got drunk and handsy, but people had also (correctly) guessed he'd want to know what was going on with the elections.

"It's not too late to... reconsider who you have as friends. Even if it hurts, sometimes it's better for you in the long run to look at who you're close with and think about if you want them to still be in your lives."

There was a sad note in his voice, a painful note. That wasn't theory or speculation--that was speaking from experience.

The last statement hit her with the force of a train. She knew what the right choice was already, but she knew she would be leaving her comfort zone as a result. Gone were the days of eating smaller fish and employing bully tactics. She was put in the awkward situation of not loving her home anymore but not fitting into the new world. However, for once she could read someone else's tone. Whatever that was, Jude....seemed to know what he was talking about. About this even more than anything else.

"I know what I have to do." Aisha replied solemnly. The mean girls group would be no more. Not only was it for the best, the rest of the girls weren't even there for her in her time of need. No messages, no calls, no in-person meetings. She knew they had to have known, but...did they even care? Or would they go the route of her homeland?

She had a feeling she knew what the answer was.

The princess curled up in a ball. Texting her best friend as her mind wandered. "I'm not sure where my place is anymore. Where my...home is." She hadn't progressed enough to consider Manta Carlos her home, but she lost desire to even want to go back to the floodplains. "What kind of princess doesn't love her kingdom?" She uttered bitterly, clearing referencing herself and her changing thoughts. Even without their presence, she could feel both her parents turning their backs on her in disgust.

It was obvious Aisha had made a decision. She'd steeled her resolve. That said, Angelo had less than zero understanding of what the situation was. He knew of the cheerleaders. He vaguely knew there were some popular girls up there. But he'd never met any of them outside of Aisha beyond passing them in the hallway, and he had no idea of the dynamics of her situation. All he could do was nod as she said it, watching her pull out her phone and start to text.

"Sometimes you don't have a home. That's... a part of life. I was like that for a long while, where I didn't have a place I could really call my home. Eventually you find your place."

In theory. If you were lucky. Angelo was under no illusions about how lucky he had or had not been.

"I'm not really an expert on... royalty stuff. It's not something I really know about. But the way I see it, a princess is a person just as much as they're a princess. You've got a right to your own life."

"Right..." She got a response soon after. Deciding to meet up with Sprinkles, she reached over to tightly hug Jude. "Thank you. You went out of your way to comfort me.....is there anything I can do for you?" Her emerald eyes gazed at him curiosity as she ended the hug. She would have to reach out to the others with her goodbyes, but that wouldn't happen right now. She still had questions and concerns, but all of them were things she needed to figure out on her own. For now, she felt like she took up enough of the blond's time.

Things had not gone how Angelo had expected it. He hadn't exactly planned how he thought it was going to go, but getting a sudden hug from Aisha was absolutely not it. Angelo went stiff, not really returning the hug, and when she offered, he quickly shook his head.

"No, I - sorry. I just wasn't expecting that. I don't need anything, I just wanted to check on you and make sure that you were doing okay."

But it seemed like she had things to do, and Angelo pushed himself to his feet, offering her a hand to help her up.

"So... good talk? Good talk."

Yep, he was still a little bit thrown off by everything, but he was doing just fine.

Aisha stood up with the help of Jude. She dusted herself off shortly afterwards, "Well, I thank you again for that." She politely curtsied to him. What? She could be lady-like. Party or no, she had some sense of manners. Somewhat.

"Now byyeee!~" She beamed brightly before running off.
