Marius, like the times before, was silent, thinking about his words before responding. How could she be so stubborn not to do something that might save her life? Sure, memories could be bad, but dying was worse, he was sure of it. Upon hearing that she said he didn't understand, he nodded slightly. It was true, after all; he had never been through such an experience, and the seventeen year old wouldn't deny this. "You're correct," he said, frowning inwardly as he turned away. "My apologies for dragging this subject on, but, don't you think you're being the tinniest bit stubborn, Miss Marine? The place may not have great memories, but you're going to lose all of your memories, even the good ones, if you die. So, I ask you, which is worse? Facing bad memories, or losing every last one of them?"

Marine didn't say anything until a few minutes after he did.
"I don't have many good memories."
She said simply.
"And if I die, then I won't have pain anymore. I don't want to dragged back into ''happines''. It would be to hard... Especially after... After Everto."
The name rolled of Marine's tounge, it was the sweetest word she had ever heard. And she didn't want to think about him.
"I don't... I don't want him to come back, say to me that I'm important to him, then have him leave me... I'd rather be dead."
Marine looked over to him.
"And don't call me ''Miss Marine''."

Marius waited until she had finished speaking to do so himself, not waiting to do so like he had the last few times. "Well, if you don't have many good memories, you should keep on living to make them," he told her. She looked to be about his age, so she had plenty of times to make memories. Just because she might not have had a great past didn't mean that she couldn't have a better future.

He wondered who Everto was, though he didn't really need to after hearing her statement about him coming back and leaving again. He was probably someone she had liked, perhaps even loved, and he had probably left her. Well, he was a jerk. Who would be stupid enough to leave a girl like Marine alone and heart broken? "Maybe he didn't mean to leave, maybe it was unexpected and he didn't have time to tell you," he said, trying to give her some words of encouragement.

The seventeen year old's face reddened somewhat from embarrassment when she corrected him. "My apologies, Marine," he told her. "It's habit. I won't use 'Miss' anymore."

Marine looked away. Maybe he was right. But, if he knew the truth, then... She shook the thought out of her head.
"Maybe your right..."
She said in a whisper. She shivered and looked up.
"Do you want to someplace else... Thats warmer?"

When she said he was right, Marius couldn't help but smile slightly. Perhaps he could get her to go there and save herself eventually. Not right now, though, seeing as how it wouldn't be wise to push her. "Sure," he told her when she asked if he wanted to go some place warmer, and he stood up, holding a hand down to her in case she wanted help getting up. "Where do you wish to go, Marine?"

Marine stood up by herself.
"I don't care."
She said, crossing her arms and stopping her teeth from chattering. A shapeshifter like herself shouldn't get cold. She sigh inwardly, wishing he would pick a place that was inside.

He simply put his hands into his pockets when she stood up on her own. It had been her choice to accept help or not, so he wasn't going to act like he was confused. It looked like he was going to have to pick, seeing as how she didn't care. Marius nodded, and seeing as how she seemed so cold, chose quickly. He had a feeling that her getting sick wouldn't be a great thing, seeing as how she already had that mark and all. "I don't know many of the places here," he told her. "But, um... lounge?" he suggested. He walked toward the door that led back into the school, waiting for her. If she objected, he figured that she would tell him.

Marine shrugged and followed him. She had one hand on each shoulder, mostly to make her look non-suspicious-looking. Blood was seeping from her dark mark. She didn't want Marius to know, and/or worry about her. The last thing she needed was death from blood loss.

Marius hadn't yet actually seen the blood yet, though he thought there was a different smell to the air now that they were inside. He ignored it, though, figuring it might have just been the school. Besides, he hadn't exactly smelled blood enough times in his past to recognize it immediately. He looked at Marine to make sure she was alright. "You ok?" he asked, seeing as how she had her hands on each of her shoulders.

Marine nodded, a blank look on her face.
"I'm fine, just cold."
They entered the lounge. Marine immediatly sat down in a chair neext to the fire.

((Sorry so Short :P ))
