Hazel floated up into the air again, brushing some hair caught on her glasses. She agreed with Haru for most of it. The smothering was bothering her, but still, Theron was a nice guy overall....

"....Yeah, you're right. Sorry for worrying you Haru."

She was sure that some of the others would be a bit worried as well. It'll probably be okay in the long run, though. Most are busy either getting married or having sex with others. She'll talk with them later. Mainly because she didn't want to do a whole lot. She could practice her praxian language with Haru.

"Well, I don't really do community work. Can Haru fetch Haze a cup tea...?"

On a scale, that was about a 3 out of 10. Back to English.

"Sorry. Um, can you get me a cup of tea please?"

Haru perked up when she heard Hazel trying to speak Oleti. There was a sense of cuteness and childlike whimsicality in it. Granted her wording was horrible and her pronunciation could've used some work, but she was trying.

"Of course Ms.Arlnest" she smiled a bit as she left the room and enter the hall once more. Once again, as she usually does, Haru opened all the curtains in the hallway to let some light through and peer into the lands of the Arlnest family. Seeing a large mass of land not filled with crops sometimes made Haru miss home. She missed her old mundane work that she had grown to love a large amount. Though her new commitments here were quickly growing on her also. New friends, new food, new cultures, a new world in general. Ity all reeked wwith adventure and she was drawn to it.

Haru finally reached her destination in the kitchen and pulled out her usual pots and teabags. She had a certain taste for black tea recently so she made that the tea of choice for Hazel. Earth herbal drinks were quite tasty.

A few minutes past and the water had finally come to a good enough boil for Haru. Some people liked using microwaves to heat water faster but heating water up the original way was more enjoyable.

"Maybe I should have myself a cup also." Reaching up into the shelf Haru placed two cups down and prepared the tea for both her and her mistress. With the tea complete Haru let out a breath of victory and placed the cups on a tray.

Making her way back she spun the spoon of her tea playfully while admiring the peacefulness of the day. The only thing ruining it was her strange worry for Hazel. If anything happened to the girl it would be her job couldn't or in a much worse case her life couldn't go back to the farm if she died and that was a path she refused to let happen. These worries ony increased her efforts in her job and help push her foreward each day.

With a similar knock from earlier Haru announced herself. This time she didnt take the time for a response and pushed the door open with the tray in one hand.

Hazel noticed Haru's mood lightening a bit when she stumbled through her sentence. It helped lift the awkward a bit for Hazel, so that was great. As Haru left the room, Hazel floated to her bed and relaxed on it.

It was kind of weird having another parental figure in her life. It also made her nervous. The last two sets of guardians ended up dying, and this was pretty similar to when she lived in New York. And with the island being full of powered up people or mythical creatures, it didn't really help anything. Yeah, it was Haru's job to be her bodyguard, but there was nothing stopping Hazel from protecting her as well.

Her thoughts were then interrupted by the knocks, and Haru walking in holding a tray. Hazel got up from the bed, walking over and taking her cup and sipping. "Thank you Haru"

Haru gave a small bow before sitting back down on the bed with her personal cup in hand taking small sips here and there. The warm liquid warmed her body and brought a sense of joy to her face. The first sip was always the best in her opinion and the last was the saddest...atleast until she got a refill.

"So what is your plan now that you have a lot more free time. I was hoping to enroll you in a class a friend of mine is running. Now, normally I would tell you what this class is but I feel telling you would only make you afraid."

Haru took a sip before her next sentence.

"But I will tell you it involves a lot of physical labour. My goal is to....toughen your resolve....I see great potential in you and was hoping to cultivate it" A devilish smile appeared on her face for a split second which she quickly covered up with another sip of her tea.

Turning a little girl into a soldier seemed like an idea her father would have. In this case, Haru just wanted Hazel to be able to defend herself when she was no longer around. Though she did understand why her father also found a sick enjoyment in it. Building a warrior and moulding a child gave her a hint of godly control. Sadly, in this case, Hazel wasn't a newborn and was pretty capable of personal thought so that tamed Haru's demands a lot more than her fathers.

Hazel sipped her tea calmly, listening to Haru's request. Yeah, she knew this was gonna be coming. And too be fair, she wasn't afraid, just disgusted. Her last attempt in a physical fight did not end well for her. The memory was a bit foggy, just a steel pipe and a lot of pain. But, it wouldn't be a bad idea. Though if Hazel didn't know any better, she could have sworn she saw a wicked grin on Haru.

"If you are talking about a self defense class, I have been tossing the idea around for a bit. After the events of the corn maze, actually. And if I do, I'll probably have it be private lessons at home. I'm not too keen in showing off my lack of physical talent to a whole class. Who would be teaching said class?"

Haru perked up at the idea and acceptance at which Hazel had taken her offer. The only problem was her self-confidence. "Well, i cannot assure you private lessons at home as they are classes run by the school. Most likely the teachers would be Storm or Malara. And I can assure you neither of them will make fun of your lack of physical prowess. The simple idea seems silly. Do fellow classmates laugh at each other when they are in a class learning to drive? The whole point of all you being there is to improve."

Haru finished off the rest of her tea before continuing.

"If you let others hold you back then you will never improve. And if you insist on letting them do so push forward anyway and use them as extra weight to make you even stronger.......huh I am becoming my dad."

The sad revelation wasn't that bad. Her father was a pretty okay male. She just didn't want to be overbearing like him is all. Taking few minutes to internally ponder Haru sighed a disappointed breath. "The other alternative is I teach you.And my teaching won't be self-defence." An evil smirk appeared as Haru facial expression turned into her normally close mounthed smile.

Hazel looked away, sipping her tea. Going to a class of students still seemed silly to her if they were just learning how to fight. Sure, the other students would have most of the same level of skill, but it seemed like some time would be wasted for the most part trying to keep everyone in the same level. Though Haru would be a definite no for a private tutor. With Haru being in Hazel's presence most of the day, there would be a lot more training then she personally would like. As the thought crossed her mind, Hazel's face squinted for a second. She did quickly shake it off before turning to Haru.

"I still would like to have a private tutor. I'm more used to one on one teaching anyway. Though I'd be leaning more toward having Storm then Mal. Something about having a war goddess as a personal training just doesn't sound good for me."

"Malara would probably be just as light as Storm but I can see whee your concern stems from." Haru set her empty cup down on the tray before crossing her legs. Her mind drifted to an ulterior option.Har didn't want Storm to have to work extra hours though she felt Storm would take it gladly. As Haru continued to think her head drifted toward the ceiling as her face wore a thinking expression which for her was just her usual smile. From the outside looking in she probably looked pretty strange, chuckling but strange had never been a concern of hers.

" I am not aware of another person who I would be comfortable dealing with you so I will have search some it seems." Haru grew a devilish smile looking down at chuckling " Am I really so bad of a teacher?" She understood why Hazel wouldn't want her security as her teacher. The ideas Haru already had crossing her mind in terms of "practice" were probably over the top for what her fragile little dove would care for.

"It's okay I will take my hurt feelings home with me I guess" She chuckled a bit giving Hazel a warm glare that bordered motherly and aggressive encroachment.

Guilt, rising. She didn't mean to offend Haru by not wanting her as a teacher. Nor did she think it would even effect her. Hazel's face paled a bit, and she looked around awkwardly. She even got a strange look from Haru. That was it, she did offend her, she just knew it.

"I mean, if you would like to, you can train me. I wouldn't be opposed to it at all. A-And sorry if I offended you for that, it wasn't my attention at all."

Gulping the rest of her tea, Hazel floated over to the tray, sitting crossed legged and putting the cup on the tray as well.

Haru couldn't help but laugh at the little girl getting all fidgety around her it was cute. Haru smiled a large smile and dismissively waved her free hand at Hazel. "Dear, you didn't offend me I was teasing you. If you don't want me teaching you I would fully understand that." How easily flustered Hazel became over her made Haru all happy inside. She had no clue she had this much sway in the girl's heart.

" So, do you have any friends who might be willing to help you? Regrettably, I don't know everyone you hang around.....yet. So if you have any options I'm all ears Ms.Arlnest."

Haru did follow Hazel from time to time knowingly or not by her. She felt that by studying her day to day she could better execute her job as both maid and security. Ever since this police ordeal, she has felt the sense that she needed to follow her actions more closely. But even she knew that would be over the top and would probably anger Hazel, so she sadly only stalked her a minimal amount.
