The hustle and bustle of the loud city caused the little girl to shove her hands over her ears. Where was she? How did she get here? She remembered warmth — a blanket, perhaps? And yes, glancing down beside of her, there was indeed a blanket! She grasped it tightly and started stumbling down the road.
The little girl, with her lovely glowing white-blonde hair, and her soft, porcelain skin, weaved her way through people until she came to the road. Of course, being 'new' to this land, much less this life, the little girl did not know anything about etiquette or how she was supposed to behave — or what was dangerous and what was not.
She put one foot in front of the other and started to stumble her way across the rather busy road. Car horns honked loudly at her — as they swerved to avoid her. The child covered her ears again and began to cry — she closed her eyes tightly as another car swerved; coming much too close for her safety.
The toddler turned heel and began to stumble along toward the way she had come, in tears by the time she reached the sidewalk again. She clambered onto the concrete and began to crawl furiously, trying to get as far away from the road as possible! That was scary, those big, giant monsters trying to eat her!
Dettae would continue to crawl until she found an open door to a shop — and in she went. She gurgled to herself as she crawled across the floor of this store, people stepping over her and paying her no mind. Soon enough the child pulled herself upright to reach and claim a book from the nearest shelf — it would seem she had gone into a book store.
She flipped the pages in a rough fashion — to the point the book could be damaged if she was not careful. She tossed it aside and picked out another one. This time, this one had pictures! She gurgled and cooed to herself as she looked at the pictures, quite content for the time being.
