<div align=center>"I'm okay." He chirped, he felt absolutely fine? How could going without sleep be bad for him when he felt absolutely fine. Pushing at Gabriel with his hands and grumbling something about having no space, though he was the one that had invaded the older man's personal space rather than the other way round. Meditated? He almost laughed at the notion, he hadn't done that in a long time and frankly he'd completely forgotten about it. Besides, it wouldn't help him much in his state right now, every time he went quiet or stopped doing something his mind wandered to dark places he'd rather it not go to.

"Why are you exhausted? It's not that early." But actually it was, and the sun hadn't even peaked above the clouds yet. It reminded Bill that it'd be winter soon, and he didn't like the cold. It depressed him and made him want to curl up in bed and never get out of it. Gabe was right, he didn't have cake. Why not? He supposed it wasn't really common for people to buy their own cake, William could have made one but in this state he'd probably end up setting the school's kitchen on fire or poisoning someone. "Of course I'm busy. I'm very busy. I'm always busy. Have to be busy, you see."</div>

"Mmm sure you are. " Gabe wasn't convinced of that fact, not in the slightest. He was fed up of trying to make Bill see reason about that though. He'd just have to hope that the boy would eventually tire himself out so much that he wouldn't have any choice but to fall asleep. "I can't do anything about that. " The angel returned, when Bill began to grumble about the lack of space. Ideally he'd have a bigger bed, but there was no way that he'd have room for one in this dorm.

'Why are you exhausted? It's not that early.' That one caused a laugh out of Gabe, "William it's five in the morning. That's pretty fucking early. " The man usually didn't get up until the afternoon if he could get away with it. Being up this early was not something he would ever do by choice, nor did he see why anyone else in their right mind would. That was the problem though, Bill was not in his right mind.

"Yeah okay, but what are you doing that's making you busy? " The angel asked, meeting Bill's gaze. "Maybe you don't need to do all those things, especially not if they're stopping you from sleeping. " He frowned a little when the boy mentioned that he had to busy. "Why?" Gabe hated being busy.

<div align=center>Why did Gabriel sound so skeptical? Of course he was fine. If he wasn't fine, then why did he feel so excited? He didn't know whether it was because of that birthday vibe or because of the fact that he'd been awake for so long by now that simply everything was completely and overwhelmingly exciting. If Bill hadn't tired himself out by now then poor Gabe probably had no hope whatsoever. Gabriel was getting increasingly irritated, and somewhere deep down William knew that very well - but it was getting very hard to stop being so annoying. He didn't want to go to sleep and he felt like he could do lap after lap around campus.

Forcing both arms around Gabe's neck and pulling him close - perhaps somewhat aggressively at that. His legs hooked themselves around the man's waist a second later and his chin dropped to his shoulder. "You're just lazy. Maybe if you went to bed more you'd wake up more.... Or maybe I should go to bed more... Is it really that early?" He'd lost all sense of time over the past few days and so 'early' was no longer a real concept to him. It was both very early and very late at the same time. Sort of a Schrodinger's Cat kind of affair. "Stopping me from sleeping is good." He answered, with a nod. "Why? Oh! Because things get scary in my head if I stop doing things. If I stop talking then I'll think about bad things and I don't want to do that."</div>

Gabe was beginning to feel like it was going to be a lost cause to get the boy to sleep, especially once Bill had pulled him towards him with such force. "I'm not lazy, I just sleep sometimes, like a normal person! " The man stifled another yawn. "Yeah, you really should. And yes it is. " He supposed that sometimes he was a little lazy, but not to the extent William was making him out to be. Most people were asleep at five am, unless they had the misfortune to work a graveyard shift. There was no point in trying to explain that to Bill in his current state though, he probably wouldn't even take half of it in.

'Because things get scary in my head if I stop doing things. ' Now this worried the angel a lot. Everyday he became increasingly concerned about William's wellbeing. He wished he had some idea how to help the boy but he felt like this was too far gone for him to be able to help. If only I knew someone who could...maybe there's someone who has powers to do that? There's people who can fix physical illness so why not mental illnesses? Gabe didn't know if there was anyone on campus who had the ability to do that though, or how he would even go about finding them. For now he figured that the only way he could help was to support the boy, "if you ever wanna talk about those bad thoughts you know you can talk to me, don't you Billiam?" Getting Bill to open up about what was on his mind was an incredibly difficult task however.

<div align=center>"Lazy." William interrupted, before Gabriel could finish his sentence. There wasn't really any other way of putting it. William's body clock woke him up at 5AM most days, if he'd actually been to sleep that was, anyway. Was Gabe a normal person? William didn't really judge him as so, he thought it was strange that angels had to sleep - and so he must be making it up, angels didn't have to sleep at all, Gabriel was just inexplicably lazy. William would have had the time of his life if he didn't have to sleep, and apparently that was what he was attempting to do right now. If he could evolve so he didn't need to sleep...

But Gabe was being sappy all of a sudden and now it was William's turn to get annoyed, "oh shut up, you're like a broken record." He snapped, venom seeping into his voice as he spoke. "It's boring, I get it, you're concerned about me." He didn't have to remind him every five minutes, and irritating little nicknames probably weren't something that would sway William and suddenly get him to spill his guts about the matter. He didn't think there was anything wrong with him, so why would he need to talk to someone when there was obviously nothing wrong?

Pushing himself away from Gabriel, irritated now, William struggled out of his boyfriend's bed, shuffling across the room to where the chest of drawers were to rob some of the man's clothes to put on in place of his own.</div>

Gabe had never really given up sleeping, even after he'd become an angel just because he liked it so much. He didn't really need it but it was a habit he'd kept from his human life. He supposed Bill did have a point about him being lazy after all, but he wasn't going to admit that. Not now anyway.

'Oh shut up, you're like a broken record.' Gabe hadn't predicted the boy's mood would turn so quickly. "Jesus Christ, sorry for actually caring about you. " Gabe frowned, he didn't mean to be annoying , it just always seemed to end up that way. He made a mental note to try and stop badgering William about things, if he has something to tell me, he'll come to me right? Gabe shrugged, unsure of the answer. Best to leave it anyway.

"You're not leaving are you? " Gabe sat up, when he saw Bill was putting on a new change of clothes. As much as he'd wanted some peace when the boy had first entered the room, he wasn't sure he wanted it anymore. He was feeling too awake now to go back to sleep. He let his feet dangle off the end of the bed.

<div align=center>William shrugged, he could leave, but these weren't the clothes he was going to do it in. He probably needed to shower and by now his eyelids were feeling heavy and uncomfortable. He wasn't about to give into sleep though. "Have you got anything to eat?" He asked, frowning and shuffling over to the beside locker to rifle through it, coming off unsuccessful and sighing lightly. He wasn't sure if he was actually hungry - but it was breakfast time so he decided it'd probably be the best idea, not that Gabe would have anything he wanted, but it was worth a shot.

Maybe he should leave, he could trickle down to the cafeteria and get some toast. With honey. Purring at the thought, the urge to take a shower and get dressed was creeping in on him. Although he could probably get away with going down there looking like this and retreating back to his room as fast possible. He felt a little bad for Briallen who was probably having to deal with the wake of mess he left behind him recently, he didn't even feel like tidying up at the moment which probably meant something was really wrong. "You have nothing."</div>

The older man shook his head, "I don't think so. " He usually just wandered down to the cafeteria when he was hungry or grabbed something from the vending machines. It wasn't exactly the healthiest way of living, but then again he didn't really need to worry about his health anymore. All he really kept in the dorm was drinks, and most of them were alcoholic. Not really the best option to start your day with.

"Yeah I know. I can go and get you something from the cafeteria, if you want? " The older man offered. He didn't really want William to leave so if he got the boy some food and brought it back up to his room they could spend a little more time together. He'd have to throw on some pants but that wouldn't take more than a couple seconds anyway. Bill could take a shower and get dressed while Gabriel was gone if he wanted to.
