<div align=center>The hour was ungodly, it had't even struck 6AM yet but William was practically buzzing. How old was Gabriel? He wasn't sure - twenty four he thought, William frowned a little. That was so old, he almost felt like their relationship was awfully taboo for a moment, his brow furrowed even further when he recalled that he had most certainly been a minor when he'd lost it to the Latino.

With a shrug, he shool the feeling off. Sixteen was the legal age for sex in England, and so he supposed all in all it was alright, wasn't it. It wasn't actually very clear how he'd ended up inside Gabe's dorm, he certainly didn't have a key, did he? He hadn't slept there over night but now here he was, creeping steadily over to the bed. Creepy. That was a good word to describe William, really. Not using the term 'creepy' to describe him as a sexual predator - since he rarely ever looked for sex - but as in genuinely creepy. That shark-like grin and that fluent way he was able to get around, not even a squeak from the floorboards underneath the carpet rose up. Scrambling up onto the mattress, he crawled up so he was staddling the older man, dropping his head so their faces were but an inch apart. "Gabriel wake up you're really old today." He hissed, voice low, menacing.</div>

'Gabriel wake up you're really old today.' The angel jolted awake, "Jesus Christ!" He wondered how Bill had gotten in here, he wasn't here when I fell asleep was he? Gabe would have remembered if he had. The man wasn't what you'd call a light sleeper, but he was still surprised that he hadn't even heard a squeak out of Bill as he'd come in. Who knew how long the boy had been here? Maybe he'd been watching the birthday boy sleep. That was a little creepy.

"What time is it?" The man asked, his still sounded a little groggy. He glanced out the window, it was pitch black outside. Gabriel was lazy when he wanted to be, and he enjoyed his sleep. He wasn't someone who liked getting up early just because it was his birthday, he'd rather sleep in and party into the night.

"And hey I'm not that old," Gabe protested. The realisation that he was twenty-four today hadn't quite hit him properly until now. Twenty-four. Shit that's nearly halfway through my twenties. Gabriel met Bill's eyes, suddenly realising what a big age gap there was between the two of them. Bill wasn't even out of his teens yet, and the angel was here celebrating his twenty-fourth birthday.

<div align=center>Staring wide-eyed at his boyfriend, the age gap between them wasn't really that big. Six years, that was all. Bill could think of more but he didn't care to at the moment. He didn't speak, however, rather just managed to get himself just that little bit closer, eyes widening and smile doing the same. It was probably enough to make even the bravest of men feel a little bit uncomfortable, sure, William was pretty cute - but overall, not really. It took a while of being in contact with him to really realize that, but it was endearing that he'd attached himself to someone, at least.

What time is it? Sitting bolt upright again, William's eyes flickered to squint at his watch in the darkness of the room. He was fully dressed, of course, and there was a wild sort of look in his eye that suggested he probably hadn't slept at all the night before. Then again, when did Bill ever sleep recently? "I don't know." He chirped, shifting on Gabe's hips and glancing over to the alarm clock flashing next to the bed, "5:05 AM." That wasn't that early, it could have been much worse, realistically. Gabriel was an old man though, William couldn't really blame him for not wanting to get out of bed.

He felt a little guilty, he hadn't really got Gabriel a present, he was completely broke and so he'd decided just to give him the gift of himself instead - not that that was a very exciting gift, either.</div>

Gabriel loved William, everyone could see that, but even he was feeling a little uncomfortable right now. Something about the younger boy's smile felt off. It was almost eerie and certainly wasn't the cute smile Gabe was used to seeing. The angel tried to shrug it off, it must just be the lighting or rather lack of lighting in the room.

5:05 AM. "William what are you doing up at five in the morning?" Gabe asked, trying not to sound annoyed. He appreciated the fact that Bill had come to wish him a happy birthday but he really wished the boy had waited a few extra hours. "Have you slept at all, actually?" He squinted, trying to get a closer look at his boyfriend. Bill looked worn out, regardless of the fact that his voice and overall manner was rather chirpy. Gabe couldn't put it all together, now that he thought about it William's behaviour over the last while had been a bit erratic.

<div align=center>"Sleep?" The boy giggled creepily, tilting his head to the side and reaching both hands forward to squish at the man's face. He shook his head - no, he hadn't slept at all. He hadn't slept the night before either, or the night before, thinking about it. He'd drifted in and out of it, but his mind was frequently ticking over time at the moment and sleep wasn't something that came easily to him. William had gone far past the point of feeling tired by now, and was instead feeling absolutely ecstatic instead. He liked birthdays! There was no cake, and that's all William really cared about, but the vibe was good, wasn't it?

He of course hadn't picked up the irritated tone in Gabriel's voice, he usually would have backed off at that point, but in the state he was in, Bill really didn't care. Deciding to make things even more difficult and scrabbling at the blankets to worm his way underneath them to curl up next to his boyfriend, he became terribly aware of how little space there was in this bed. He'd never really thought about it before, but he practically had to sleep on top of Gabe when he stayed here - which of course he didn't really mind, but he probably couldn't say the same for his boyfriend. "Move over, you old man, I'm cold."</div>

Gabe didn't appreciate his face being squished very much. He knew some people would find it cute but he hated the feeling. The angel had pretty much guessed that Bill was running on a lack of sleep due to the way he was acting. "Why not? When was the last time you slept?" Gabe let out a short sigh, he wanted nothing more than to go back asleep but it was very unlikely that he'd get a chance to do that now.

"I would if I could," Gabe answered. The bed really was not suitable for one fully grown man, let alone two. There literally wasn't any space for him to move. "You're just gonna have to snuggle up close then." He nearly jumped as Bill's skin touched him. The boy wasn't lying when he said he was cold . "Holy shit you're freezing." Gabe did feel a little sorry for his boyfriend then. As much as he was pissed off about being woken up he couldn't hold a grudge poor Bill for too long. "You'll warm up if you stay under here a lil bit."

<div align=center>Giggling softly and pressing his icy hands to the boy's stomach, William nestled just that little bit closer and dropped his chin to his shoulder. "Hm?" It took the boy a second or two to think about it, rolling over onto his back and taking up even more space. "Not since... Maybe Wednesday." It was Saturday now, and that probably wasn't very healthy. He'd slept a little of course, but he was running on fumes by now and of course that probably wasn't good for his mental state. Then again William's mental state was really quite fragile nowadays. Gabriel was getting irritated with him, but this only drove William to be even more annoying.

Pressing his hands back to the man's stomach, William nestled close again and squirmed in his spot. Despite the earliness of the hour, William couldn't have been more awake than he was right now. He was practically buzzing and he couldn't understand why Gabe was so grumpy. "I didn't get you anything because I'm poor." He chirped, matter of factly, and apparently deciding that he was beginning to feel uncomfortable bundled up in the clothes he'd had on for the past few days. Struggling out of his sweater, Bill's shirt went next followed by those oh-so-tight skinny jeans that managed to take his undies with them. It was probably for the best, however, and it was probably more hygienic for him to be curled up here naked rather than a set of unwashed clothes that had been tossed unceremoniously onto the carpet next to the bed. Judging by the state of his hair, he probably hadn't showered in a little while either, although the scent that was probably most heavily prominent right now was the smell of spearmint, suggesting that he'd at least not forgotten his oral hygiene. "I'm so cold."</div>

Gabe winced a little as Bill's ice cold hands met his stomach. He had no room to pull away, and besides he'd offered for the boy to snuggle up so he wasn't going to go back on that. However, he did move his boyfriend's hands so they were on his boxers. This time Gabe wasn't even trying to be sexual , it simply was the only place that wasn't bare skin at the moment.

"Wednesday?!" He repeated with a groan. William hadn't actually given him an answer as to why he hadn't slept in such a long time but Gabe didn't feel like trying to force it out of him either. He'd given the boy enough lectures about looking after himself over the past while, but Bill didn't seem to be paying much heed to any of them. The boy was behaving almost like a kid on Christmas morning, he wouldn't lie still . "Bill will you please stay still?" Gabe asked, a little more irritation seeping into his tone this time.

'I didn't get you anything because I'm poor.' Gabe nodded briefly at that, he hadn't been expecting the boy to get him anything. He already knew that William was basically broke and he hadn't expected that to change just because it was his birthday. The angel wasn't surprised by Bill's sudden need to strip either, he was used to it by now. The boy looked like he hadn't showered in a good few days, but fortunately he didn't smell too bad, though maybe it was the spearmint coming off him that masking any bad odours. "You'll warm up soon. " Gabe assured him. "A warm shower would probably do some good too." It was too early to be showering now though, no matter how convinced William was that it was a perfectly reasonable hour to be awake at.

<div align=center>"What's wrong with Wednesday?" William answered, pushing himself up a short way and tilting his head to the side. He didn't really understand why that was so bad, he'd slept a little, and besides, he thought that people had stayed awake for much longer than he had. Shaking the thought from his head, Bill settled down on his back again and let out a long, drawn out sigh. He didn't want to sleep, and he should probably have had a wash by now but he was far too preoccupied to even think about that. The scent emanating from him wasn't exactly unpleasant, he just smelled like William, though perhaps a downside lot more intense than it usually was, though perhaps with the faint smell of sweat mixed into it.

Bill will you please stay still? "Oh but I'm so awake." He groaned, shifting yet again and pushing himself upright. "Aren't you excited? Though I suppose it isn't a very exciting birthday, is it?" Gabe was already legal to do more or less everything, wasn't he? William forgot that more often than not. He shook his head when a shower was mentioned, "I don't feel like that. I don't want to do that. I'm very busy." Though he wasn't really busy, not at all.</div>

Gabe groaned, "nothing is wrong with Wednesday, it's the fact that you haven't slept since then. " The man counted on his fingers, "that's like four days without sleep, Bill. That's absolutely terrible for you. " The man couldn't understand how Bill hadn't fallen asleep by now, he knew that if it was him he'd barely be able keep his eyes open let alone be so energetic. Then again Gabe had never gone more than 2 days without sleep, so he probably hadn't surpassed the level of fatigue that his boyfriend clearly had.

"Maybe you should try and focus on relaxing for a couple of minutes." The angel figured that if the boy could try and let go of all these thoughts that were keeping him so active that he might be able to sleep. "Have you meditated recently? " Gabe doubted it very much, from the way William was acting.

'Aren't you excited? ' Gabriel shook his head, "not at the moment. I'm exhausted right now, maybe I'll be excited later." He probably wouldn't be though, there wasn't all that much to get excited about this year. He wasn't expecting any gifts, although his 'rents might send him some cash, and he hadn't even got a cake. "I don't have cake, " he apologised to Bill, knowing how much the boy liked sweet things. " I could buy one later but how lame would it be to buy my own birthday cake?"

"You're busy? Doing what? " The older man's head tilted ever so slightly. He couldn't think what Bill could be busy with apart from classes, but he wasn't even sure if the boy was even attending them recently. Usually William was a diligent student but with his mental state the way it had been as of late he might have been neglecting his education as well as his hygiene, among other things.
