At this point I feel obliged to inform you that I... am always right. Michael chuckled, returning to speaking through his mind now that the tense moment was over. He hoped that what he said was enough to help the boy even a little, for he could see now that he knew it was there that it was really eating him away, for some time.

If you are dry enough we should try and get back to the dorm before it is too dark. he asked, standing up and brushing the dust off his clothes. Come on. he said, indicating with his head that he should get up. There is a shower somewhere that is calling your name.

<div align=center>William nodded, he would have liked to go back home, and a shower sounded great to him right about now. He wanted to be warm and clean. Both of those things seemed more appealing to him than anything else in the world right now and Bill happily agreed. He slowly pushed himself to his feet, his legs feeling heavy and strange from disuse. He stretched, and yawned. It was getting cold and dark. William was looking forward to sleeping, it'd come easy tonight, he was exhausted and hadn't taken nearly enough naps. William slept more than he was awake, he supposed he was like a sloth if anything, he enjoyed conserving energy.

He stared out across the sea, there was something eerie about it when it got dark, he often thought about what lurked under the surface, and that frightened him, "did you know, we've explored less than seven percent of the ocean..." He told Micheal, absently, "isn't that scary?" He blinked, William could believe that anything existed after coming to Starlight Academy, who's to say mermaids aren't real? He'd had a debate with an old friend over that subject a while ago, William thought it was plausible. "Let's go home."</div>

Not really. Michael thought, tilting his head to the right and crouching so he could put out the fire he started. Not to me. He turned around again to look at William, a silent question in his eyes.

You do know we will have to jump again in order to get the height I need to get us back home? he asked, even though technically only he would need to jump, and could then pick up William the same way he picked him up from his window, however, that would be stupid, and slower, and he could just jump while William was with him and fly them both home and that would be all.

Right?

<div align=center>William looked a little hesitant at that prospect, though he wanted to go home, he wanted to go to bed. Nothing was going to keep him from his bed, not a cliff, not a storm, not anything. He reluctantly agreed to jumping again, at least he wouldn't get wet this time, at least he hoped he couldn't. He laughed softly, of course Micheal didn't find the sea scary, Micheal wasn't scared of anything. William thought that was incredible, and he respected the boy a lot for it. He shook his head, he liked the thrill of jumping anyway, he had gotten to realize that Micheal would never let him fall, it made him feel better.

Okay, he answered, silently. Let's go. A wicked little smile crossed his face, if he could fly he'd probably challenge Micheal to a race right about now, and would most certainly end up losing that race. How he wished he had wings, instead he was stuck with this (as he thought) mostly useless power he struggled to control, the boy sighed at the thought and drove it from his head, he was the way he was and he couldn't change that for anything. Wanna see how fast you can go?</div>

Michael gave a smile as bright as the Sun when he saw that William wasn't afraid to jump again, nearing the edge with his back turned towards the ocean and stretching his hand for the other to take.

I know exactly how fast I can go, William. he said, still smiling while he laughed softly as well. However, I will most certainly show you too, if you want. he said, his smile widening.

Taking a second while William approached to decide how exactly is he going to do this, he nodded his head to himself as the plane formed in his mind. Jumping on his head while holding William close, only to turn when he was supposed to open his wings, and then moving the boy in between them seemed about right.

<div align=center>William laughed, "show me, then." He challenged, lifting one eyebrow. He wove his fingers through Micheal's and clung to his hand. Flying was something he did enjoy, it was something he'd never dreamed he'd be able to do, and in a way it was incredible. It was far quicker than walking, and this way they'd be back to their dorm in no time, on foot it would take forever. William thought he was too tired to walk, and thanked Micheal's presence. It was unlikely he'd fall asleep on the flight though, besides, he'd let go and that could end up being dangerous.

The wind had picked up again, and William's hair had been blown back off his face. It had dried now, and felt stiff from the seawater. Thoughts of a scalding hot shower were running through his head, and he purred at them. He'd sleep fast tonight, and he hoped it'd be dreamless, William's dreams were bad ones more often than not, and he'd rather not dream at all. Bill got a snippet of the way this was going to work and nodded, they'd be fine, or at least he hoped so, he'd already bled once today, he didn't need to bleed again. The thought made him laugh.</div>

As if I would let you. Michael thought, frowning. The first time only happened because he wasn't there to stop him. William wasn't supposed to fall, not alone, he was supposed to be there to help him hit the water right. Though even if it happened anyway, nobody died, so everything was alright.

He smiled, bringing William closer, and putting the boy's hands around his chest. Hold on tight. he thought, and then... Then they were falling, the gravity pulling them closer and closer to the dark ocean floor, through the layers and layers of cold ocean water. Not that Michael had any intention to reach any of it until it was time again. The air humming in his ears, pulling his hair up, and into his eyes and mouth, he laughed, a strong, loud laughter which shook his whole body, before he turned again, William still snugged at his chest, ripping the chain away.

The pendant in his left hand, glimmering between the silver rings, its absence from his neck giving birth to his wings, they were pulled up within the smallest part of the second, roaring through the sky as wind pulled at their limbs again. He was soaring, flying as high as fast as he could, until he finally reached the tipping point, from which he proceeded to fall again, till the height on which it was safe to fly them home. Only then did he he move William to his back, where he was safe in between his wings.

How was that for a flight? he smirked, laughing.

<div align=center>William was disheveled by the end of it, his hair had been mussed completely and was stuck up in strange tufts. He was freezing though, he couldn't feel his face anymore and his hands were numb. He laughed, and pushed his hair away from his face, beaming at Micheal with a smile about three times brighter than the sun. "Well," he was panting lightly, exhilarated from the cold. "Looking past the fact that I'll probably have to be defrosted now?" He asked, lifting an eyebrow, "that was fun." The boy nestled himself against Micheal and quivered a little, he wished his dorm room had a fireplace, maybe he'd go down to the kitchen and crawl in one of the ovens. The thought made him giggle.

He yawned softly, and let his eyes flutter shut. The poor boy was exhausted, and judging by the sound of his breathing he had a cold coming on. That wasn't unusual for William, he'd spent a lot of time outside the past few days and he got sick easily, he didn't really eat properly and his immune system wasn't what you'd call the best. He merely wanted to go home and go to sleep, he was cold, and the temperature would drop as soon as the sun sank. "Let's go home now?" He asked, softly, "the only regrettable thing is that..." He paused to yawn again, "we don't have a bath tub."</div>

Definitely looking past that fact. the still shirtless Michael said, as he laughed at William's comment. I'm glad you had fun. he added solemnly, as he was worried that William would be still freaking out because of the slip lip and all. Which reminded him, he should really put something on that before it got infected. Plus...

My dorm room has a bath thub. he said, turning to the right as they reached the edge of the school grounds. It's not big, but you should be able to fit in there. Also... he let them fall even lower as they reached the dorms. We should really put something on that lip. Stopping, he asked. So, where are we going?

<div align=center>The offer of a bath was perhaps the most tempting thing in the world to William right now, and of course he agreed to go to Micheal's dorm, he had only been able to shower since he'd been at the school, and baths were his favourite thing in the whole world. "Let's go to your dorm." William stated, nodding a little. He would have liked something to clean up the wound on his lip, and he needed to clean the blood from himself that had come from his nose. "We are going to your dorm," he confirmed again, clinging to Micheal a little tighter and giggling softly. Anything for a scalding hot bath.</div>
