This is Havoc, and he needs... well, a friend. He has one. Just one. Not 'one PC and some NPCs that appear offscreen', but literally just one single friend. It'd kind of be nice for him to have a second, but since he's new to the island he hasn't met many people.
Let's get this out of the way: Havoc is, to be blunt, pretty weird. He has the emotional range of a rock. There's nothing wrong with him--as far as he knows--and there's no history of trauma. He's just, well, largely emotionless. That's not to say he doesn't care--although he doesn't a lot of the time--just that he doesn't really get emotional. At all.
Havoc is a military man through and thought, and that's his main area of expertise, so he gets along well with soldiers (whether current or former). That's the absolute easiest way to get along with him, although it isn't the only way.
As emotionless as it is, being Havoc's friend is a surprisingly good thing. While Havoc would take fifty odd years to recognize someone as a 'friend', once he puts you in his mental classification of 'squadmate' you're pretty much set. He'll watch your back no matter what, and he's like, the ultimate person who is never going to judge you. Seriously, he does not care. Zero judgement. No matter how weird you are.
