Ekya chuckled at Selkiris's remark, "The elusive Fae. They had quite a large district in Nighthome but, other than some signs declaring a tribal's domain, you would never know it was occupied. One time I traveled through one of their largest city without knowing."

What happened next surprised even him. She grabbed his hand then tried to remove his hood only to have him ask her not to. There was definitely something going on between them, and from the looks, it was not good. He took a step back and said quietly, "if you want, I can leave."

When Morgana apologized, he just smiled sadly. "It is ok. I am used to it. Most of my girlfriends", he rolled his eyes, "the only had me because I was a strong back - except Xiretai. She was one in a trillion." He looked down, "I miss her."

Seeing her request to join her class, he chuckled, "I doubt it. No matter what form I am in, I am still Sahenzi - ah dolphin - porpoise?" He thought a moment then shook his head, "no dolphin."

Selkiris watched with no reaction as Morgana growled at him and visibly grew upset with him. Right now his privacy was a little more important to him than what she was currently thinking of him, no matter how similar she was to Morgan. “No no it’s quite alright Ekya you do not have to leave. I believe we are done...for now at least.” Selkiris felt like he should probably invite Morgana over to his house to discuss this all a little more clearly later but that would had to wait for a later time.

"Perhaps we can get a tank of sea water?" Morgana smiled at the young centaur, hoping he'd take her up. He seemed lonely, and it'd be nice to have another good kid in her class. The woman snapped her head around to glare at Selkiris as if to say "no we are not, mister" before sighing and shaking out her hair. After a few deep breaths, the thorns and bristles fell to the sand, replaced by the normal violets.

"I, unfortunately, have some shopping I need to do in preparation for my classes, but maybe we can meet up at the academy again?" Morgana made sure to let Ekya read her note before flipping to a new page and writing a new one for Selkiris.

"You and I have a lot to discuss. I expect some explinations for all the sleepless nights I now fear you've caused me. And I want to know what you are." Unlike her normal notes, Morgana tore the page out of her notepad and thrust it at Selkiris. Alongside what she had written, the fae also scribbled down her address at the academy and where her gardens were located.

He chuckles at the look Morgana gave Selkiris. It had a definite 'to be continued...' look to it. He was glad not to be Selkiris right now. But it did remind him of a few spats he had, which caused him to cringe a little.

Ekya laughed at the thought of a huge tank of water in a classroom, "No need. I only need to return to the sea every," he did calculations in his head, "three-day. I said that because I am a," he thought a moment, "carnivore and veggies are not on my menu - at least - I think they aren't."

He chuckled, "you might, but you will most likely meet my mom. She is planning to teach biology." After a pause, he smiled, "you might like my mom. She spent almost a month on a world that was all plants. Even the world itself was a big plant..." His face dropped, "that won't work. She can't speak human, and you can't speak." He brightened up again, "but - if I make you one of my speaking machines, you could!"

Selkiris made no effort to respond to Morgana’s glare. At this moment there was no point to responding to her. Selkiris waited patiently as she wrote out stuff to Ekya, and then took the note she ripped out for him, carefully reading it. “Sleepless nights I caused hm? Interesting as I’ve never met you before this. But no matter, I shall meet you with later this week. I’m free this Wednesday if that works. I’ll bring tea as well. But I must apologize I have to get going, I have things I must attend to.”

Speaking machine? Morgana furrowed her brows in confusion. What on earth was that? Would it help even if her body was fine? If it was her mind rebelling. Then she paused, seeming to think over how to do this before finally writing a new note for Ekya. This was her shame. She was capable of speech. Capable of talking, but regardless of what she wanted her throat felt like it closed up and her tongue tied itself in knots.

"I can talk." she looked down, not wanting to watch Ekya's face. "The doctor said my throat and tongue were fine."

The sound of Selkiris's farewell drew Morgana's gaze up. She gave him a quick nod 'goodbye' then risked a glance at Ekya. Would he think her an odd fool?

Ekya smiled and offered his hand to Selkiris, "It was good meeting you."

When he read Morgana's note, he just shrugged. There were many reasons for self-induced silence. Religious oaths for one and, in one case, his words carried such magical power anytime he spoke, ears bled.

For a moment, he just stood there awkwardly. He stepped up and gave her a quick hug before galloping off, blushing profusely.

Morgana stiffened as Ekya lurched forward and wrapped her up in a hug. The fae woman gently hugged the centaur back and patted his back affectionately. He was a good kid. She smiled, watching him race away. With a sigh, Morgana fiddled with her ring and began her way back to the academy. She had a lot to ponder...but this had been a good walk. Perhaps she'd even made some friends on the island.
