He chuckled, "it was, but I like I'm better for it, dad taught me a lot," he grinned, "and you have my mother to thank for my dancing skills," he laughed a bit more.

He nodded, "yea, I think we stayed in beat pretty well, I was afraid I'd mess you up. It had been a long time sense I danced," he gave her a wink, "you still put me to shame."

He smiled, "yea its fun, I really enjoy, more than I remember." He leaned in a bit, "I'm not gonna steal one again....so I'm gonna ask....can I kiss you?"

"Can't argue with how you were raised. No matter what you think, it is what helped shape you today." Summer mused thoughtfully, beginning to rock on the heels of her... well, heels. She could feel the soreness of her feet, a little more prominent since she had not quite broken these heels in yet and it had been some time since she danced since she was so busy since her arrival.

The daughter of Apollo smiled at his words about how they danced. "You still had a talent to stay on beat - which in itself is a plus in your direction so don't start tellin' me that you're not that good. Staying on beat is one of the most important things in dance." Sometimes it was weird how positive things would come out of her mouth, given her punkish appearance.

When he asked her about getting a kiss, she hesitated. Her face flared with colow, and she began to laugh nervously. Her eyes flickered away as she scratched her cheek. Had she.. never really been kissed before? Summer shifted her weight for a moment as she tried to think of what to do. "I'm sorry. It's a little early to me.. Would it be okay if it's maybe just on the cheek for right now?"

He grinned, "yea, I'm grateful to them, all they did for me." The corner of his lips twitched slighy, it had been two years, but their deaths still haunted him, the pain still remained, fresh as always. One could see it in his eyes.

He pused the pain to the back of his mind, "thank you. I'm happy I'm not to rusty." He grinned, "I would havd hated to bog you down. If you ever want to dance, come find me. I'd be honoured to dance with you again."

His smile never left his face, he leaned over and lighly kissed her cheek, he'd accept it, he understood that she wanted to take things a bit slower, "thank you," he said with true, honest, gratitude in his voice.

Summer had to physically bite her tongue until she drew blood so she could not say anything about that spark dying in his eyes. It was not something he wanted to talk about as far as she could tell, and her natural curiosity seemed to hate that he would not want to explain it all to her. Damn that portion of her mentality. Always having to know.

She just flushed as his lips pressed against her cheek, shifting her weight back and forth. It felt so weird to get a kiss on the cheek from someone who she did not see as family for the first time, though she could not deny it was a nice feeling. There was a feeling of almost like birds fluttering around in her stomach and like she just drank a red bull and decided to run two miles.

"You're welcome... I uh, I guess." The last portion was muttered as the normally eccentric girl looked off to the side in hopes to find something else to distract her. For a brief second she was so caught up in her own embarrassment that she forgot where she was. Giving a small bounce on her heels, she asked. "Well uh. What do you wanna do now?"

He saw the urger to ask more in her eyes, and perhaps one day he'd tell her, but for now it was to fresh in his mind, to heavy on his heart.

He was patient, and wouldn't push her into a relationship to fast, he was ok with taking things slow.

A bright smile appeared on his face as she asked what to do next, "we can dance more if you want." He liked dancing but understood that she might be tired, "or we can go order our food." In truth he was happy either way, being eith her.

Summer shifted slightly as she debated what to do. After all that twirling and wandering around with him on the dance floor, she could feel a very thin layer of sweat on her skin and her stomach demand substance. She hummed for a moment and looked to the rest of the little club. Yeah, maybe they should actually get some food.

"Let's get something to eat. Then we can dance more afterwards." Smiled the young woman, holding onto his arm. Most of her embarrassment from just a simple peck on the cheek seems to have been forgotten for right now. They should probably actually eat before they move on. Be a little more delicate with their dances soon after their meal as not to make a mess of things.

As they moved to order their food, the young demigod rubbed at her eyes. Ahh, they stung. Maybe it was all the perfume in the air or the energy from her dancing steps that made her tired. For now, she would shrug it off. It's not important.

He smiled as she took his arm, "yea I am a bit hungry." As they headed back to the table he noticed Summer rubbing her eyes, "bit tired?" he asked.

They sat, and he quickly glanced at the menu and chose his meal, "I hear the food here is good." Sense he was paying for everything, she could get whatever she wanted, "let's treat ourselves, get something good." He grinned, "we'll get dessert too," he wanted to be the kind of boyfriend that did nice things, made dates fun.

The waitress appeared and took their orders, "so have you started school yet?" he knew she had been busy tending to her fsthers' shrines. "With the new semester starting we might have classes together."

Summer shrugged off the question with a small smile. "Just a lot of perfume in the air, ya know?" She just wanted to laugh it off and go on with her day. There was a small mutterance beneath her breath as they sat down though it was hard to tell if that was just an uneven breath from dancing. The young woman took a deep breath through slightly parted lips to get enough air in her lungs.

A small laugh came from the oracle at the whole 'get something good'. "And here I was going to chose something absolutely awful. How did you know?" She commented sarcastically as her electric blue eyes went down to scan the menu. Hmm. With how popular this place was, Summer hoped that the food was reasonably good there.

"Yeah. Some paperwork to get me enrolled needs to be filled out soon but I should be able to get in for the semester." Summer answered, with a small whine. "I know I should but I really don't want to go back to school. Navigating the island is hard sometimes, the school is going to be its own hell."

"Yea I know what you mean," he leaned back in his seat, "I didn't go to school for a few years so it's strange being enrolled again." He took a sip of his soda, "yea, I still get lost sometimes so I fly when I can."

"Are you going to get a dorm?" he was curious as to whether or not she was going to live in campus. "I wanted to get an apartment, but I can't until I'm eighteen," a part of him really wanted to avoid crouds because if his death sense.

"But I suppose it's not all bad," he said with a smile, "being around kids your own age can be fun." He took another drink, "and some of the classes are interesting," he grinned, "I mean where else can you learn Dragon Biology?"

"I hope they don't make me retake any classes. I hated geometry and algebra II so if they make me take them again I might scream." Summer huffed as she leaned back in her seat but could not help but smile. It would actually be nice to get back to school - have that feeling of befriending classmates and having a little more to do with her time then just meditate and prepare for the next prophecy.

When asked about the dorm thing, she took a second to think about it. The idea of moving all her things again seemed exhausting, so she shrugged it off. "I don't think so. The shrine isn't all that far and I think being around people who have so many paths like teenagers do might make my head go nuts." Summer answered.

She laughed at his comment on Dragon Biology. "Oh man. Signing up for classes is gonna be fun then - I was more focused on the basic stuff I learned back in school. Then again all of those schools were human based... Not for dragons or imps or demons or demigods."

Summer smiled as she waited for his reply and the return of the waitress to take their orders. Maybe then they could go dancing.
