A Cure for Boredom

A demonic familiar was a slave by another name, but at least Chloe had made Arach feel comfortable. She was worth treating with respect; she was a person. Keeping her as a servant had been filling Chloe with guilt this whole time. Not being disliked was about as good a response as she could expect.

"Well, this time you got to bind me," she teased. "Er, different kind of binding, I know, but. Still. I hope it was good for you."

She was distracted for a moment by the TV. It was showing a machine bending wire into the mesh for a fence. Chloe was both mesmerized and asking herself why she watched this, wondering what Arach must have thought about her choice of viewing material.

"You know, there are hookup sites for that sort of kinky stuff, like what we did. And networking sites. I could help you sign up for that if you want." It would be a healthy outlet for her, Chloe thought. She was only in the mood for being tortured herself every once in a while.

Chloe laughed. She caught where Arach was going with that. "I'm not always in the mood for that kind of thing, though. A lot of the time I'd rather have something... gentler. More sensual. You know. I don't know if that's your thing as much."

That, and Chloe still felt dirty about the idea of getting into a sexual relationship with her familiar. Even if it wasn't directly sexual and was just kinky torturey stuff, it was one of the things that she found really off-putting about her father.

But she wasn't saying 'no.'

At the same time, Arach was really cute. Her father made her that way to appeal to Chloe specifically. And Arach seemed willing. If she was the one who initiated...

Arach had some really cute mannerisms about her, sometimes. The affectionate cheek-pinch, that quiet delighted squeal as she drank hot chocolate. It put a smile on Chloe's face.

She almost laughed at that last remark. She knew Arach was being seductive, but the implication was too much for her. "Wait. Are you saying that the thing we just did is normal for you, but ordinary sex is out of your comfort zone?"

Chloe thought about it a little more. "Well, I guess two girls doing it isn't quite normal, per se..." Her mind dwelt a little too long on the prospect of sleeping with Arach. A little too long for her own comfort, at least, but the thought kept worming its way into her head. After Arach had been abused by her previous masters, Chloe could be there to remind her how a loving, gentle touch could feel. She could just imagine taking Arach back to her room and...

No. It would be an abuse of her power. She wouldn't be loving Arach, she would be using her for her own selfish pleasure. It wasn't right. She already felt sick enough, with what she'd just finished having Arach do to her. She felt like a slave-master, an abuser, and here she was making Arach fix her self-loathing with hot chocolate and snuggles. It just compounded Chloe's shame, but she didn't want Arach to let go.

"Anyway. I think you deserve the chance to... ah, meet some people and have your way with them." She wanted this conversation somewhere else, so it was moving on to helping Arach hook up. "What do you think would be a good alias for you? On a kinky hookup site, I mean. I'm gonna help you sign up for one." There was one for Manta Carlos, specifically, which Chloe had heard about but never signed up for. She was too afraid of running into her dad on there.

"Miss Tarantella.... I like it. Sort of a spider pun." Chloe's fingers bounced across her phone's touch screen. "How about a password? So you can sign into it."

They went through the whole process of putting Arach's profile. They listed off a subset of her abilities, her kinks, her interests. She had Arach pose for a few pictures, too, and she offered herself to model Arach's webbing, making sure all of her recognizable characteristics stayed out of anything they posted. Several times, again, the temptation came up to initiate some sort of encounter with Arach. Chloe restrained herself out of guilt.

Soon, Arach had started to meet people online. Chloe loaned Arach her laptop and hung out with her for much of the rest of the afternoon. She hoped that doing all this for Arach would let her redeem herself.
