It was still early in the evening, but Malara was running around her house making sure everything was perfect. She had probably tidied up a hundred times, adjusting her decorations and making sure that the living room had enough space for what she had planned.
It had taken a lot of pleading to get the house all to herself for this. She planned on similar scenarios with them, but Cat was first.

She had gotten a text from Cat earlier in the day, saying that she would stop by for Christmas. Malara had told her to come by anyway, since she had the bulk of the other girl's gift to give to her in private.
Malara knew she was being really spontaneous with this. But recent events had made her realize something, and she didn't want to waste any time. And ever since the simulation, she couldn't get the nagging feeling out of her head.

She just really hoped that Cat didn't freak out or hate her afterwards.

Checking things for a final time, Malara sat down and let her sore muscles finally rest. She had trained all morning, despite the holiday, and was ready to pass out and sleep. Maybe just a bit...
Malara released some of her stored up energy, just enough to ease the ache in her muscles and reinvigorate her. It wouldn't do to falter or nod off. Not when this was so important.

Malara looked back through her book of Praxian culture and religion. She knew the steps. She had memorized and practiced them time and time again. It made for good training too, so it was doubly useful.

The candles were laid out, she was dressed in her traditional Praxian Rohai, a dress made of a long strip of cloth wrapped provocatively around the body. It was red and gold, the color of the Daughters of Flame. But also Christmas-y.
Now all she had to do was wait for Cat to show up.

Cat fretted about her appearance, checking the mirror for the milionth time. She'd done everything right, yeah? Not a hair was out of place. Not that she really expected to keep it that way after she got there... The cute little santa dress she's gotten only barely covered her ass, and it was barely covering the fancy lace bra she'd bought weeks earlier. She felt.. Damn sexy, wearing this. She wasn't too shy to go through with it. She wasn't shy at all.

Well. Perhaps a little.

Cat was worried that maybe, when she got there, Mal would already have people over. That she wouldn't want her because she had Noli or Mia or someone else. It wasn't too late to cancel was it? She could go to Simeon instead. Simeon wasn't a lust goddess. He liked her as she was, and she didn't need to dress up fancy to tell him how she felt. Cat's nerves felt like ice, raising goosebumps all over her skin. There was a knot in her intestines and she felt nauseous.

No. She had to fight this. Mal loved her without the need for sex. If she didn't want her when she offered herself up, maybe she should try staying with Simeon instead. Cat could be brave too. Just like Dorian and Mia. She could... Seduce people too. She just had to show off a little more.

It was time to go, before she backed out. She called a taxi, so that she wouldn't have the time to change her mind halfway there. The drive over was spent carefully planning out exactly how Cat was going to explain her getup. How she was planning on seducing a lust goddess of all people. She felt silly.

She stood outside of Malara’s house for a solid five minutes before she worked up the courage to knock on the door. She waited for Malara to answer with hands clasped in front of her, cheeks slightly flushed. A long coat and a scarf hid how little she was wearing, although she hadn’t had anything on her legs so it started to look like she wasn’t wearing anything under the coat either… She hadn’t planned this very well had she?

Malara was at the door almost as soon as the first knock came. Cat was here. But Mal stopped at the door for a moment, her hand hovering over the handle briefly. Was she scared? Of course. A battle was easy. You didn't need the approval of your enemies. But your friends, you lovers... if they didn't like you. No, Mal couldn't think about that. She flung the door open.

The cold air bit at every section of exposed flesh and made Mal shiver. She loved the cold. She looked down, a wide smile on her face. There was Cat. In a long coat and, if her bare legs were any indication, nothing else. Malara's mind immediately went to thoughts of sex and seduction, but she blinked them away. No, she couldn't ruin this by coming on to Cat and scaring her away.
"Hey Kit Kat. I'm glad you could make it. Wanna come in, out of the cold?"

Once inside, she would lead Cat to the living room. The candles everywhere, the soft, exotic music of Mes playing over the speakers, the bottle of champagne and glasses laid out in a corner. It was all very romantic, or at least she hoped it was. The furniture pushed to the sides, leaving the center of the room as a big open space probably seemed odd, but there it was.

Malara ran a hand gently up Cat's arm and squeezed her shoulder gently. "Uh, so I told you I'd give you your real gift here. But, it can wait a minute. Wanna get out of your coat, grab a drink or a snack, sit and relax for a minute?"

It seemed Cat hadn’t been the only one to choose to show skin today. Mal was… decently exposed, and it made Cat’s already pink from the cold cheeks heat up with a deeper shade of pink. She didn’t make any comment on Cat’s lack of clothing, inviting her in like this was just a casual date where they’d snuggle up and watch a movie. It made it harder to think that someone like Cat could ever actually hold the attention of someone like Malara. She was just human. Malara was a god. This wasn’t exactly a long term relationship for someone who never died. They’d covered greek mythology in class. She knew the chances of actually having a permanent relationship was slim, but she just… wanted to put it on the table. To lay herself bare infront of the woman who’d captured her heart, just like someday, she planned on asking Simeon the same thing. Cat felt less of a push to prove herself to him. Simeon wasn’t so much her protector as he was her comforter. Nightmares rarely showed up while she was in his arms. She wanted to feel so securely bonded to Malara that she could go to her for this too.

“Y-yes. Th-that would be nice.”

She mentally kicked herself, realising how stupid she sounded. But she followed Malara in, tentatively reaching for and gently grasping the goddess’s fingers. Like a life-line, that fed her support and immediately calmed her nerves. Malara wouldn’t reject her.

The living room wasn’t what she expected. She’d been expecting cheesy christmas decorations, or something rather lewd. She expected Jafar to be sitting somewhere or cleaning, or the sounds of cooking from the kitchen. But instead, she found a beautiful, romantic candlelit… dance floor? Everything had been moved out of the way and music was playing, so that was her only assumption. There was even champagne in a corner and Cat hid her face behind her hands, thoroughly embarrassed. Here Mal was, planning this romantic evening, and all Cat had been thinking about was how she could seduce a lust goddess. It wasn’t fair. She didn’t deserve this. Malara was so far above Cat in all dimensions, she’d been a fool to think she could capture the heart of Malara the goddess as well as Malara the pin-up girl human.

It took her a moment to realise Malara was touching her, the back and forth motions of Mal’s hand on her arm calming, in a strange way. She nodded hesitantly and removed her coat, gently hanging it across the back of one of the pushed-aside chairs.

“A-Anything is fine, really. I-I’m not particularly hungry.. “

Cat’s stomach was full of ever moving butterflies. Not hungry was an over statement. She felt like she’d vomit at the sight of food. Was this a bad idea? Should she flee out the bathroom window like in the movies? No. That would be an awful thing to do to Mal on christmas. She'd stay. Mal was worth it, regardless of what her answer was.

[Tom=https://i.imgur.com/zJxYn8n.jpg, #cfb53b]Watching Cat stumble over her words and turn red at seeing her bared flesh, Malara let her lips slip into her usual grin. Confident, maybe a little arrogant, and too cheesy to really be called malicious. The shyness was adorable. It wasn't a quality Mal found endearing often, but it seemed to look good on Kit Kat.

The grin fell however, Malara's jaw going slack with shock at Cat's choice of attire. And the thoughts that Malara had pushed away only minutes before flooded back in. Was Cat here to sleep with her? The demigoddess bit her lower lip hard, taking a step back to get a better look at Cat. Sexy Santa outfit was not at all what Mal had imagined.
"Well that's quite the outfit, hun. I see why you wore the coat."

She hadn't noticed it before, but Mal could taste it now. Self-doubt. Fear. Things Malara had come to take for granted from Cat. But she could taste the lust as well now.
"I guess we both had big surprises for one another. I think I can guess what yours is, but. I mean. Maybe we take it slow, yeah?"

Mal felt like she had to walk on eggshells now. On the one hand, Cat seemed like she was offering herself to her. But on the other, Malara was painfully aware of her own attitudes about sex. She could very well scare Cat away.
"Not hungry? Pffft, me neither. I have drinks too. Or I could just give you your gift now, get it out of the way?" Mal knew Cat needed to take the initiative. If Mal had her way, they'd already be on the circle bed and all thought of conversation would go out the window.[/Tom]

Cat saw Malara’s grin through the cracks of her fingers and her heart fluttered. How could one person be so damn gorgeous? But then it fell as Cat revealed her outfit. Her anxieties spiked, unable to meet Malara’s eyes. She’d been too forward, without ever saying anything… Mal didn’t think of her like that, did she?

“I um… I had Bunny help me pick it out.”

Cat didn’t say much. She didn’t explain anything. Malara seemed to know. She didn’t seem to mind but she didn’t exactly seem happy with it either. This.. This wasn’t a good idea. She should have just… made a perfume. A book. Asked Kylar to take pictures. Anything but this. Regret filled Cat’s chest, but she shoved it down and gave Malara an uneasy smile.

“S-slow is good. I can do slow.”

God it hurt. It stung like a whip lash, knowing that Malara wasn’t happy with the idea of sleeping with Cat. Or that Mal was… possibly scared of sleeping with her? Either way. Mal didn't approve. She took a blanket and wrapped it around herself to hide her nakedness.

“I um… something warm would… be really nice… “
