Liun nodded, a calm look on his face. Initially. He understood the concern, and he didn’t have a problem with this. He was about to open his mouth to say to Fweiu that he’d keep it in mind, but at the end of the day it would be something for the parents to ultimately decide.
But then Fweiu said the kicker. He just stared very intently at Fweiu. He barely even heard what she said next because all he could think was three words. How dare her. Liun knew he liked Arthesia, of course. Be he was going slow with it. He understood Fweiu’s concerns about the health problems that can occur. But the species?
He pretty much dropped his drink as he stood up, his eyes narrowed as he glared at Fweiu. The reason Liun was so angry was because he didn’t give a crap about a gene pool. He had a daughter, and this was Fweiu saying she was a bad idea. Without warning, he threw a punch aimed directly at Fweiu’s jaw. His eyes remained narrowed and he seemed to almost be growling. Frankly, it seemed that it was taking a lot for him to not just shift. “So my daughter was a mistake, huh?! Cause she was a hybrid?!” He shouted right at her, pulling his arm back for most certainly another punch. “Cause her mother was human?! THAT’S A PROBLEM?!” He’d throw the second punch, but it was clear he wasn’t focused. It was a wild punch with little aim, and Fweiu would likely be able to avoid it.
