A Brawl In The Family

Hwuun kept checking his phone for a message from the babysitter he had left the kids with. The man had experience from babysitting children of all kinds of species but Vivra was...something else. And though Chiu on his own was calm if Vivra got him riled up the two were quite the pair. Not in a good way.
But Hwuun had to discuss something with Fweiu today, so the babysitter and kids would have to tolerate each other for a couple of hours until Ohri or Hwuun came home.

Hwuun reached the Rukt'In house and went right inside. This was a home for them all, after all. But the moment Hwuun stepped in he heard something he didn't like. Sounds of struggle. Hwuun frowned and speed walked through yhe house towards the sounds. He found Fweiu and Liun on the ground, fighting. And Hwuun could immediately see this wasn't some friendly quarrel. Fweiu's jaw looked broken.
"What is the meaning of this?! Break it up!"
Hwuun exclaimed and went over to the two. A quick glance was enough to tell him that Liun was the one who needed to be restrained. So, whether Fweiu succeeded or not in shackling Liun's hands Hwuun would attempt to drag Liun up and place him in a firm hold by putting his arms from under Liun's arms and over his shoulders.
"What in the Ancients are you two doing?!"

Hwuun indeed stayed firmly grounded thanks to the ice and kept a tight grip around trashing Liun, clenching his teeth. He listened to Liun words with a frown, gene pool? Worry? Hwuun looked at Fweiu, who nodded at him. Hwuun didn't have the luxury to nod back due to being busy holding Liun back. He didn't demand answers from Fweiu, he could see her broken jaw, and though he wanted to punch Liun for breaking it he knew there were circumstances to this and he would wait to hear them.
"Liun, calm the fuck down!"
Hwuun, who so rarely used curse words, half growled these words at him and tightened his grip even more.

When Fweiu finally got the chance to talk her words shocked Hwuun. Liun had a child? With a human? Hwuun didn't know how to react to all this. His arms stayed as firm as before, but he had a confused frown and he turned to look at Liun. He remembered what he had said.
She was perfect.
Was.
"Liun..."
Hwuun didn't know what else to say, but his confusion and worry and...condolences were all packed into that one word.

Hwuun's mind was conflicted in this situation, he knew Liun had to be exaggerating the way Fweiu had said whatever she had said, Hwuun knew his sister and she wasn't how Liun brought her up to be. But she had said something to piss Liun off like this, and it had to have been something pretty bad for Liun to go off this violently.
Hwuun kept his grip on Liun still, he didn't want him charging at Fweiu again, and as he talked in his tone he used the authority he had as the oldest son of the Rukt'In clan.
"Liun, since you've made Fweiu unable to talk properly I need you to tell me what on earth happened here. I won't start deciphering any of this from what snippets I heard. And Fweiu, don't try to talk. I hope you had a good reason to mess up my sister's jaw, Liun."

Hwuun listened to Liun carefully, and tried not to let her confusion and shock and yes, anger, show on his face too much. He was supposed to be a neutral party in this situation, even when talking about Hal and...gene pools made Hwuun hurt so much. The loss of his unborn child was still, and would probably always be, a sore wound.
Yes, Hwuun knew where Fweiu was coming from, if that was what she had really said.

After Liun finished talking Hwuun let him go, and there was a calm mask over his face, though Liun could probably be able to see glimpses of how shaken he was by what Fweiu allegedly said.
Hwuun turned to Fweiu to ask some simple yes and no questions, but she was already leaving and his phone buzzed. Hwuun knew it was from Fweiu, and he frowned after her.
"We will continue this later Fweiu!"
Hwuun called after her, because he knew he wouldn't be able to stop her. Hwuun didn't want to stop her. So he turned to Liun while checking the message Fweiu left.
"She's going to get her jaw healed. And then..."
Hwuun put his phone away and looked at Liun, his calm mask starting to crumble and he mainly just looked tired and sad.
"You two, maybe the whole family, should talk about this. It's a sore subject for all of us."
Hwuun would attempt to put a hand on Liun's shoulder and pat it, maybe keep it there if he allowed it.
"If you want to talk, I will listen. If you want to shut up, we will shut up. But I'm sticking with you, at least for a little while."
