Enelya patted Corona gently on the back, and circled around a tree a bit. "Well, besides other lizards... and as far as humans go, yes, I am the only one who can talk to animals."

Archimedes rolled his eyes, and waved idly at Corona. It was the same thing every time Enelya introduced him. The person would say hello; or at least thats what he guessed thats what they were doing, for he couldn't understand their human gibberish.

Enelya glared at him for bad manners, and he sulked into one of her pockets. "Well, I found him when I was very young.. So I would say maybe eight years old?"

Enelya smiled lovingly at the grumpy old lizard. "We're practically family. He was there for me when.. Well, when tough times took over my life." She smiled bittersweetly, remembering all the stories he would tell her of far away lands, and knights of galliant steeds. He made it up all on the spot, to keep her happy. Of course, these knights on galliant steeds were lizards on snails... But Enelya didn't mind.

"he sounds like a really good friend. And to make it even better, he's an awesome-looking reptile!" He looked away and thought for a few seconds. "Reminds me of someone I know.." He didn't question the "tough times" in her life. He figured she had cried enough today, and he didn't see a need to ask about it.

Enelya laughed softly. She really believed him to be the epitemy of a 'true friend.' He was one in a million, and without him, she'd probably be worse off than she already was. The only thing she wished... Was that maybe he had remembered what had happened to her. He had refused to tell her, which only made her suspcisions worse... But figured it for the better. "Someone you know?" She figured it could possibly be Paul, but who knew, maybe someone different entirely.

Enelya raised an eyebrow. Sixteen or seventeen years? Paul's body only looked about sixteen, and seventeen would be pushing it. Enelya titled her head, questioning him. "Umm... How old are you, Corona?"
