A woman entered the hospital wing, looking extremely worried. Breathing was heavy, and she clutched her stomach. She seemed to have trouble keeping her form, body trying to shift into her complete kitsune form, but mind keeping herself from that. She didnt look too happy, more like in pain.

White hair flowed around her, free of any hairbands. Amber eyes were wide and looking around, for help. A whimper escaped her lips, just barely loud enough for the human ear.

Ears layed against her skull, stomach the source of this. Or more like the child, which even she could now feel as more than one. They were ready to come out into the world, even if she wasnt.

A nurse immediately spotted the girl. She had been tending to another patient, and at first though the fox-eared child could wait her turn. However, upon noticing that she was pregnant and seemed to be in pain, the woman ran to her. That whimper made her run even faster. If this girl was giving birth, she couldn't wait. If there was some other problem with the pregnancy, she couldn't wait either.

"Alright, it's ok," she said as she got a wheelchair. No one wanted to be standing up in this kind of a situation. "Here, sit down. What's wrong? Is the baby due?" she asked. Always best to make sure that it was coming than to assume it was and have there be an actual problem with the child or children.

She looked up at the nurse who came for her, bringing a wheelchair. Doing as she was told she nodded her hand to the question, not wishing to speak.

Another pang went through her body and hands clenched arms wrapped around her stomach. Looking at the woman for just barely a moment she gave a thank you, quietly.

Upon seeing the nod, the nurse quickly ran to one of the rooms. Births at the academy were somewhat normal, though they didn't occur everyday. It was often enough that they at least knew how to handle the situation, though.

The nurse took a deep breath, quickly grabbing a needle of morphine and returning to Lykos. "I'm just going to give you some pain killer, honey. Just take deep breaths, ok?" she said, then put the needle into the girl's spine and injected the pain killer. Sometimes patients fell asleep when they had it, though every time was different.

She looked slightly worried at the thought of having to take a drug. She rarely ever had need for one, and never had take anything stronger than tylenol. She winced as it pricked her skin.

This patient didnt fall asleep, though she relaxe more. She kept a slight anxious look on her face, not wanting to loose touch with what was gonig on. Her babies were coming, after all.

Lykos didnt say anything, just nodded, knowing the nurse would see it. Then she did exacly what was said, push. Hands were fists, creating small cresent marks into her palms.

Out of the three children, the first two came smoothly. Well, as smoothly as being born could be. The third one, however, wasn't coming along yet. It seemed that this situation was going to have a complication or two. "Ok, hold on there, dear. There's a problem with the third child," the nurse informed Lykos, trying to figure out what it was as quickly as possible so she could help both the mother and the baby.

Both children were tiny, one a girl and the other a boy. A thin mat of silver hair covered the girls hair, while the boy's was orange. Both's cries were loud, though the smaller girl ltook more breathes than her brother, whos wails were lnog and strong. The mother gave a weak smile of releif as she heard their cries, ears perking for a moment.

the problem with the third child though, was the cord. It was wrapped around the childs neck.

The nurse noticed the cord and decided to work fast. She quickly, but carefully, helped the child out of its mother. She unwrapped the cord from its neck, then handed it off to another nurse. She looked at Lykos, smiling. "Feeling any better?" she asked with a slight laugh.
