Name: Marco Petrucci (and Iulia, and Hesus Esteban, and Doran Aoibheann)
Age: 22 (Marco), 27(Iulia), 68 (Hesus Esteban) and 42 (Doran Aoibheann) (explained below)
Birthday: January 1 (all of them)
Gender: Male, female, male, male
Category: Student
Class: College, 1st year, studying psychology
Appearance Description: Tall and lanky at a very thin frame of 6'4, Marco commands attention, if not for his size then for his sickly pallor. His short but unruly hair has a light curl and is a very dark brown. His eyes usually look exhausted.
Personality Description:
Marco Petrucci: Constantly depressed, and has a very low sense of self - understandable, considering how many selves he has, and how many of them he has to live up to. Even if he does something with his life, he thinks that he will never be worth anything, because his other selves have achieved so much (and he can remember them). However, he does desire companionship, even if he doesn't think himself worth it.
Iulia: The simplest one-word description would perhaps be along the lines of "succubus". Iulia is a schemer, constantly plotting some new dastardly plan (to Marco's detriment). She is rather charming, and knows how to smooth-talk her way out of any situation. Generally, she comes off as mean, but does not actually mean any harm for Marco, and is actually one of his most vocal supporters.
"I've had more men and women, more adventures, more friends, and more enemies than you've had years in your life, Marco."
Hesus Esteban: A frustrated poet, Hesus is responsible for most of the irritation and anger that people notice from Marco. His bluntness and sharp tongue often lash Marco himself, and his own frustrations and bitterness tend to infect his host. He also constantly berates Marco for not thinking anything of himself, as he values pride highly.
"If you think you're worthless, then you're absolutely right, boy.
Doran Aoibheann: Doran is a silent man, and a loyal soldier. As a man of few words, Doran believes that nothing is louder than action, and is a very determined man. No matter what happens, even if the cause he has chosen proves to be wrong, he will stick by it (thus his beheading). He tends to be the voice of reason, for as long as the matter at hand does not interest him. When it does, he becomes harder to reason with than anyone else.

MAIN: MY PAST IS ALWAYS PRESENT
Marco, long ago (as Iulia) attempted reincarnation, after having been exposed to the concept by "pagans" more than two thousand years past. However, as the process required her complete and utter devotion to long forgotten deities, the process failed, as she still held in her heart faith to the Roman pantheon, fearing her inevitable death too much to be able to convert completely. Instead of resurrecting into a new body with her soul intact, Iulia ended up creating a flawed cycle, where she did reincarnate, except for the fact that she reincarnated into another body with a soul, which meant that she was for all intents and purposes now two people in one body.
The cycle continued, and currently Marco Petrucci has four major souls inside him, and these souls act as alternate personalities that he can draw upon, or more often, be driven mad by. There is no sort of indicator for when he switches, so people have to figure it out from his personalities. Which tends to be easy, considering how different they are.
SUB: WHEN I STRIKE YOU IN RAGE, IT IS WITH SIX THOUSAND FISTS
What only Iulia knew was that the souls of the weak, or stranded souls, or those that were about to fade were attracted to her own and and assimilated. At first, this was unconscious, but Iulia discovered how to absorb and utilize souls consciously, a skill that she has been teaching Marco snippets of. While Marco doesn't know the absorption ability, he knows how to utilize their power.
These nameless souls function as a resource - a fuel of sorts. Should he need to, Marco can burn them to boost his own physical capabilities (and spiritual / magical, if he had any), essentially quadrupling them. This desperate power is not without drawbacks however.
If he does use the ability, he starts burning off bits of his soul. Granted, they were only tacked on in the first place, but this means two things - first, he can only use it for so long before he runs out of soul to burn. Second, the shock of burning off bits of his own soul is great, and once he stops, he falls into a coma from the shock. For every minute he burns, he falls into a day of unconsciousness.
Iulia takes notes of how long this happens for some reason.
SUB: HESUS, TAKE THE WHEEL
Marco can, should he absolutely require to, invoke one of his past lives to "pilot" his body for a while (not that he can't on normal occassions, but due to his dislike of his previous lives he does only when necessary). Since his past lives have experienced many things and acquired many different skills, shifting lets him access those particular skills. Once he shifts pilots, he cannot shift back until a minimum of an hour has passed.
Iulia: When she takes over, Marco's usual clumsiness shifts into extreme precision. Her fingers know where to be, allowing her to handle things like lockpicking and traditional art. Her steps are silent unless she wants them to be heard, and her natural charm, though nothing like it was in her own body, stays around. Along with her glib tongue is a good set of observational skills, which let her notice a lot of everything that happens around.
Hesus: Writing is where Hesus shines, though sometimes he has trouble translating thoughts from Spanish to English in text. (He has no problem doing so in speech due to some obscure and unmentioned thing in the abilities that translates for him automatically.) Quick to think and quick to act, he, though not particularly in possession of that many practical skills - he is sort of bitter about this - is the best in situations where there is no time to think.
For whatever reason, he excels at gardening and singing.
Doran: Aside from his combative prowess derived from being a warrior, Doran knows how to survive in the wild. His natural instincts grant him good reflexes and good balance. While his skills may be attributable to his past, his expertise in the kitchen is not. No one knows why he can make food good enough to bring people to tears, and he doesn't share why either.
Biography: Marco has long since forgotten his own childhood, as before he could filter which memories were his own and which were his past lives's. What he does know is that he didn't have friends, as he was too constantly confused and distracted to be anything but a loner.
His first lucid thought that he recognized as his own was the reason for multiple things: his awkwardness around sexual matters, Iulia's teasing of him, and his coming into contact with his past lives.
Past lives in his cycle come around to being present and being lucid rather than just bits and snippets of memories when the current host hits the age of eleven. Unfortunately for Marco, this happened during a nighttime visit to the restroom to "go blind," so to speak. Iulia never particularly let it go, but she never mentioned it to the others either, as she was first to manifest.
Over the years, Marco's situation made him more and more miserable, as his family, though well-meaning and supportive, could not understand what he was going through, much less help. They sent him to different mental health institutions after his first few incidents of suddenly-not-being-Marco-and-being-an-ancient-person took place. However, no one in their home country of Italy was equipped to deal with his condition - or at least, none that showed up.
None of them were able to help, and his family was at wit's end. However, Marco was starting to, at this point, learn how to stay in control. Before his family could fall apart, he managed to gain control, and stay in charge of his own body. This was at the age of seventeen.
At the age of eighteen an anonymous man tipped him off about the possibility of separating his past lives from himself, directing him to a certain island in the Pacific. Naturally, all of him was skeptical at first, but when the man yanked him and all his past lives to the astral plane, and put them back, he saw it as a chance to finally stop the "curse" and be himself.
At the age of nineteen he arrived in Manta Carlos.
Additional Information: Marco has a slouch by default. It disappears entirely when Doran takes over, making him seem imposing.
