"Ah! What a lovely day." Flayace start off with as she finished tying her flowing pink hair into her signature pigtails. She was downtown, in an area that she rarely wen into unless she wanted to buy new clothes, to meet one of her newer friends, through her connection with the cheer leading club at their school. "Now, where is she?" She was told to wait by a big, green tree by two big rocks, which is where she was, but it seemed that maybe there was another place that was the same as hers? Had she meant another spot, or a different time or day? She felt as if calling out the girl would help for her to be located, but there was so much other noise that her voice would just carry away. "Well, I guess I'll just wait here." Flattening her checkered purple and black skirt, as she observed her area. She couldn't wait to have fun in the city.

Marina made it a point to get to know her squad. If there was one thing Cheerleading was about, it was unity. You can't do a sick airflip if you don't trust the girl that's catching you at the bottom after all.

Flayace and her have been getting along more or less swimmingly. Flayace was a nice girl and Marina was glad to have her in her team. They worked well together, and it was a complete travesty they didn't hang out more often. It was why Marina texted her about a possible girl's day out, filled with shopping, boy-shopping and who knows what else?

Marina was dressed pretty casually, but stylishly. She wore a white crop top and high waisted shorts paired with white flats and a colorful bracelet. She flashed Flayace a winning smile as she rolled down the window of her car, lowering her shades so she could look the girl in the eyes and waggle her eyebrows.

"Get in, Flayace, we're going shopping!"

Happy when she recognized the car that had now creeped in front of her, she put on a bright glowing smile as she saw her friend roll down the window and flash her pretty eyes towards her. "I'm coming!" She quickly giggled as she quickly walked over to the passenger side of the car, opening and closing the door as quickly as she could without hurting herself. This was her first real time being in someone else's car, but she was glad that it was her friend and not some stranger or a boy. "Thank you for picking me up." Flayace said as she fastened herself in, holding onto her small over the shoulder purse. "I'm really happy that we are doing this, how was your day?" She wasn't sure why she wanted to do the sudden small talk with her, maybe it was because she was a bit nervous, or overly excited.

When Flayace got in, Marina smirked and started driving to the mall's direction. A complete jackass cut her off in that turn so she started honking at him angrily. Dicks!

"Hey, no problem, that's what girlfriends are for, right?" Considering the question, she reached out to touch the car mirror so she could get a better angle of her reflection. Status: Hot as all hell. "I'm fine, babe. Been thinking of getting a haircut, you know? Have you seen the new Jurassic World movie? The female lead totally brought bangs back, if you know what I mean. But, oh, you know what would look super cute on you? Wavy hair. You'll look like a mermaid!"

Almost there. Just a few more streets. Manta Carlos was mostly a student-inhabited island, so there weren't a lot of cars in the streets, which made driving easier.

Jumping a bit as the girl hit her horn, the noise made her look ahead and be glad that she didn't drive. She wasn't the type of person to like to be under pressure. Smiling as she was reminded of their friendship, it was good to see that some people on this island actually wanted to be her friend.

"Jurassic...World?" She had never seen the movie, but she wasn't clueless either. She knew that it was scary and about dinos, but that was all she knew. SHe wasn't one for scary things, unless she had someone else with her. "Short or just for the bangs? I think either would look cute on you." She said with a bright smile, trying to picture what her friend would look like with a different hair style. "Me with wavy hair? I never thought about that. Do you think a mermaid look would suit me?" She questioned how wavy hair would make her look, placing her index finger on her lip, trying to picture it.

"Yeah, like, the fourth Jurassic Park movie made recently, starring Chris Patt and What's-Her-Face. Redhead girl. You know, I used to not like Chris Patt, but he's turning super hot."

Mall now. Marina drove into the basement parking, lining up to queue behind the other cars. She grinned at Flayace while waiting for her turn to get inside, pressing the side of her hand to the base of her neck. "Short. Straight. With bangs. Cute, right?"

She reached out to touch Flayace's cotton candy pink hair. "Oh, totally. Loose fabrics, wavy hair, seashell hairclips... I can see it. You'll be the cutest girl on the team. Well, second cutest. Cutest after me. Boys will be clamoring for your attention left and right."

She chuckled, parking her car near the entrance. She undid her seatbelt and picked up her purse, looking over her reflection one last time before turning the engine off. "Let's go?"

Marina exited the car.

As she tried to help Flayace picture the movie, and their actors, the mental imagine didn't stick at all. She didn't know who Chris Patt was, nor did she know as to why he was suddenly hotter. Hopefully next time they were to hang out or see each other, they would be able to talk about him and the movie, as she felt a bit left out that she didn't know. Smiling back at the girl that had just smiled at her, waiting to get a spot in the parking lot. Hopefully they wouldn't have to wait for too long.

"Yes I think that would be cute." She said as she rephrased what she wanted to do with her hair. Tilting her head to the girl, so that she could touch her hair quickly, she smiled at the idea that she would look super cute, even to the level of how cute Marina was. The fact that boys would be all over her wasn't that exciting to her, as she had a boyfriend, that she didn't feel like loosing anytime soon. There was no problem in looking though, right? When she finally got a parking spot, she quickly unbuckled herself from the girls car, waiting until she turned off the car and stepped out herself, before opening her own door. Getting up and closing her door, she did a 360 check to make sure she had everything. "All good." Walking over to her friend's side, she waited for her to start moving towards the mall.

Marina threw the keys in the ear and caught it, slipping it into her clutch purse. She linked her and Flayace's arms together and led them to the mall.

"So... Priority 1: We're getting you and me a new look for the new year. I'm thinking glamour girl for me. What about you? What are you feeling?" Marina passed by some shops — boring, boring, ew what was this 2003?, emo, and a restaurant. Obviously, they need to go deeper. "Don't worry about the expenses, by the way." She pulled out two credit cards from her purse, winking at Flayace. "I got you covered."

As she watched the girl's rather impressive key trick, she was glad when they finally started to move to the much anticipated mall. She was someone that loved to go shopping, but she hadn't even considered going into the more mainstream mall, sticking with handmade and family run businesses. Flayace had always enjoyed the gift that love and hard-work gave to items.

As they entered, they were greeted with a small gust of wind as the air temperature changed between the outside and the brightly lit building. "Wow." She said under her breath as she did a 180 with her head, not wanting to disrupt her friend by over-moving. As they passed stores and businesses, it seemed to Flayace as if she could have stopped in any of them and found something that she would have liked, but she knew that she wasn't here to spend her little amount of money so freely. In a way, she thanked the girl in her mind, glad that they weren't stopping at every different store.

"A new look?" Even though they had talked about changing their hair, Flayace couldn't think of getting new wardrobe, or dying her hair or anything dramatic like that. Even the whole idea of curling and maybe even trimming her hair was a bit much for her to take in. As the words of Marina took her out of her thoughts, she was rather surprised as the girl popped up two credit cards, finishing her sentence. "Oh no I couldn't! You've already done so much by inviting me and driving me here I don't think I could." Even though it was kind of Marina to offer, Flayace didn't feel as if her bickering would save her from getting the credit card anyways.

Marina walked in front of her, taking both of her hands into her own. "Come oooon, Flayace, how many times can you say a totally hot blonde angel went down from the heavens to buy you all the clothes and shoes you want?" She smacked her lips, pouting. "You do so much for me. You follow all the routines. You're always such a dear. The least I could do is...."

Conveniently, there was a cute, trendy hipster store near them. Marina walked over to the display and pointed at the mannequin. "Buy you that cute floral skirt. Oh. Oh!" She squealed, pointing at the top it was wearing. "Or that spaghetti strap top! Ooh, this place is super cute, let's check it out."

She grabbed Flayace by the wrist and dragged her inside. The stereo was playing Katy Perry, the wallpaper was pink with white hearts, and every rack was arranged by color. Marina? Marina was at home.
