Of Virtues Past (Closed)

So far, everything sounds good. Is she gonna be the mom of the family? Also, are they going to be human, or angels or what? I'm curious to see how this will turn out.

Cassandra (Cassie) Virtue
"Chastity"
A girl somewhere in her early to mid teens, fixated on the idea of being a maiden forever. She's a bit bossy, but otherwise a good kid. She's also ace/aro. I don't have a lot of ideas for her aside from the "I'm never ever ever going to get married" thing, but I was thinking of making her stay a kid forever...

Here's just a quick sketch of what I thought. I didn't think it would be a literal family so I had to kind of rework what I thought... but well, it works mostly.

Jaya Virtue (Charity)
Mid - to - late teens; was thinking she would be obsessed with giving to the point of almost absurdity. Despite Hellen having a steady income, she still gets a bit of friction with her due to giving being out of control. And it's literally out of control - most of the time it's unconscious that she offers her help. She doesn't quite enjoy her generosity; while she like helping people, that only occurs when she likes those people. Most of the time she ends up giving to people she doesn't like or sometimes even know. At first she started it to curry favor and attention (or so she says) but now it's spiraled out of control.

I figure she's a bit of a forcibly haughty person, trying to convince herself that she's not a nice person, but deep down that's what she is, and she doesn't like it one bit because it means she doesn't keep anything for herself.

Diligence can be father but i have yet to think off of a race so if you want any specific i can probably go with it. Gonna do some stuff now but when ill be back ill see what i can whip up for him.

Do you think it would be better to make them have longer lifespans than normal humans? I'm more concerned with making my character fit in nicely with the rest of the family (I need sibling shenanigans so bad) rather than worrying about powers and the like.

okay so i've got a concept for mine now so:

Terrance "Terry" Virtue [is this really the surname we're going for-—]

mid to late teens

restrained, composed and well-behaved. a little controlling sometimes. he's the kind who'd stop you from over-eating, over-spending, procrastinating and stuff like that, and the guy who'd calm you down when you're super upset or really angry. ironically, i see him to be the kind to be easily angered but he obviously tries to control that temper from flying.

i can see him for the second eldest role or the middle child mostly, going all "don't do it, hoe" and lecturing his siblings even if they're older. i like the idea of him coming off as the self-righteous guy but all he just wanted is to look after people around him. i think he might be a bit possessive.

if we're talking about abilities, my idea for him is some form of binding (restraint). like idk. chains that come out of his body? depends. he probably has cloth or threads in there, or ropes, but the strongest type of bind would be chains. (if he was a girl, it could just be his hair probably.) for talents, he knows how to tie almost every type of knots. and for some reason i see him... knitting? oh wow that's... pretty cute i think um.

appearance, he'd probably dress really comfortably. some casuals i guess. i'd imagine he has a hair clip on his fringe, and always little pouty, maybe.

holy ribbons it is! im ok with any order for terrance as long as he's not the eldest so ill let everyone discuss.

i like the idea of them to stop aging at their prime tbh. though itd probably not affect the kids much. but i think them being younger gives the dynamic of sibling shenanigans. kids after all.

also, i love how ironic the virtues are

I like the idea of Cassie being a middle child.

I still don't have any ideas for Cassie's powers though, maybe something to do with true love? Like the ability for people to look past lust and appearances to work together better? Idk. I want it to be related to her virtue, but I don't want it to be so passive.

Her weapon will be a slingshot; the preferred weapon of plucky child adventurers everywhere!
