[ Adeloise Wagner ]
+ [ Stella ] + [ Adrien ]
+ [ Stella ] + [ Adrien ]
Adrien and Stella both agree that this was one hell of a stupid idea. And that was saying something.
Adeloise was too busy looking around bushes and burrows to listen to either of them though. She heard whispers as soon as she set foot on this island (the human sort of whispers of course) that there were wandering spirits everywhere. She'd felt it as soon as she was at the docks. There was no doubt the island was brimming with energies she never felt back at home. They were everywhere and Adeloise wanted to talk to all of them--find out what their deal was.
For once Adrien had a really serious air on him and verbally expressed his worry about her quest. It'll be perfectly fine! she said to him but all she got back was a really unsure look that was normally only on Stella. Adeloise had the gall to joke about them looking like siblings but Stella rolled her eyes at this, saying she was sure she'd never had a brother as obnoxious as Adrien.
Adeloise is sure she had a pretty decent excuse to say when people find her here: she'd say she wanted to familiarize herself with the land and what better than through the locals? Stella had to disagree, and Adrien had to be the one to point out that wandering spirits in a dark, heavily wooded area can't exactly be the locals she's supposed to be acquainted with. Adeloise pretended she didn't hear a thing.
"Hello~?" she called out, "Anybody in here?"
"Adeloise, come on. You of all people know there's something in here. Let's get back to the dorms already. You still have to check with the school about your residency and guardianship or whatever," Stella pleaded, floating in front of the girl in attempt to sway her. It didn't work and Adeloise just walked through. For a ghost, she looked more concerned than the girl who could get easily possessed by a roaming spirit. Adrien seemed to be calmer but he was pretty quiet
"It'll be fine, Adeloise hummed, stretching out the 'i'. "We'll be back there before sunset--no one's gonna notice we're late! Let's go, let's go!"
