Current Satus: Character profiles need reworking.

Heyo! This is my plotter detailing what I'm looking for in a roleplay, what I'm not, and what characters I have available. If you're interested in any of my characters, you can reply here find me in a couple of places:

I may add or remove plots I found unnecessary or filled, but please don't be afraid to suggest your own ideas. I can have trouble thinking up good plots for my characters, so I'd really appreciate it if you gave me your own suggestions as well. Expect this to be updated frequently with new, erased, or closed ideas, as well as new characters.

What I Like

Defined Plot - I enjoy roleplays where there is a defined plot. It makes it easier on me if I know where the thread is going and it gives me a good idea of the time we should start wrapping things up and ending it. That does not mean the roleplay cannot be laid-back, but I do like knowing how our characters go to the thread, where we plan to go with it, and when we should wrap it up.

Character Development - I love roleplays where my characters are forced to go through some change, no matter how small it is. I feel like there is little point in me participating in a thread if my character is not affected by the plot. It can be something like slowly learning to open up to people or learn how to converse better, as long as I feel like my character is actually growing (or regressing) from the encounter.

Angst - I love getting into the darker aspects of characters, their lives, personalities, relationships, etc. As long as the angst doesn't conflict with my triggers, I just might be up for it. I'm not a fan when the angst goes on for too long or becomes too exaggerated, so I want to keep it reasonable to the story. I like to keep my angst SFW too, so if I feel like we're getting too NSFW or you feel like I am, we should discuss things before it goes further.

Fluff - Happy and cute plots make roleplaying a lot easier on my mind. Plots like characters braiding each other's hair, cooking for each other, trading presents, or just thinking about good memories. I will get bored if the fluff gets to the point where there's no conflict at all or nothing exciting to talk about, but I don't think it'll be hard to find a small conflict for the characters to face while keeping the tone of the roleplay relaxed. If we decide there may not be enough to keep the plot going beforehand, I think it would be better to not make the thread and just say they did something fun together.

Slice-of-Life - This is just stuff like characters going shopping together, watching TV, playing games, going to the gym, etc. A laid-back and relaxing rp where the characters just enjoy (or don't enjoy) their day-to-day life. This partially connects back to fluff, but there can be angst in slice-of-life too, such as characters discussing bad memories or dealing with current trauma.

Powers/Skills - Situations where each character shows off their abilities, discuss them, and/or play around with them. This can be something as simple as playing tag while flying, or having a snowball fight by using their telekinesis. I just like playing around with my characters' powers and seeing how others write the abilities of their own characters.

What I Dislike

NSFW/Mature - Not that I can do Mature threads as I am only 16-years-old, I'm just not into stories where my characters get into sexual situations. I don't mind characters or roleplaying characters with sexual themes, but it if goes on for a while I'll become uncomfortable and try to rush things along. This goes especially for fade-to-black sex scenes. I'll also try to steer clear of plots where things get too gory, such as describing a torture scene. Gore and torture is the only NSFW I'm completely okay with, but I don't want to risk myself going too far and getting in trouble. I also don't think I'm that good at writing anything regarding those scenes and worry I'm going too far or not far enough. I think it would be better to fade to black or imply our characters conversed about dark topics in narration or out of character. I don't plan on actively seeking out Mature threads when I become 18, as I just dislike sexual plots in general and could not feel confident writing them or gore. I can see myself roleplaying Mature threads with a psychological theme over a physical one. I am okay with characters who make dark or sexual jokes and references, as long as it doesn't become too excessive or steps into my triggers.

Action - I do enjoy action plots and quick-paced plots, but I'm not very experienced in writing detailed and well-organized fights. I don't mind trying to practice them, but don't be surprised if I get anxious that my roleplay isn't up to my usual standards, not meeting your standards, or if I want to back out. I would like to practice my action roleplaying, but I don't want to be thrown into a situation where I'm bringing the plot's experience down. If anyone is willing to help me out in this department then I'll be more willing to roleplay this genre.

Triggers - This is a list of things that send me into pretty bad panics and discomfort. I'd prefer if I got a warning before having these things show up in a plot I'm in. That way we can discuss ways to avoid it or portray it so I don't feel the need to leave the roleplay.

Friends - Béatrice is a very friendly person most of the time. She can come off as immature despite her formalities, but she enjoys being around people and acting as optimistic and energetic as possible. Her love of knowledge helps as well, pushing her to meet new people and visit new places to fill her compulsion to learn.

Rival - Béatrice can also be very difficult to deal with. Her mood swings can come out of nowhere, and while she learned how to gain more control over them, she can still struggle with keeping them down. Sometimes this can lead to impulsive behavior, which can lead to her starting fights with other citizens, whether it be passive aggressive or full out aggressive. Some may also notice the questionable behavior of her family, specifically, her children. When her children are brought up, Béatrice acts very proud and happy about them, but to those who know them, it's quite clear they are not the most well mentally.

Ideas for being Béatrice's rival (always open to suggestions):

Suspicious of how she uses her knowledge of science for experiments

Rival - After Béatrice gave away her ability to heal others and feel sadness and anger to Taliesen for immortality, she has been lacking a lot of motivation. She's been forcing herself to feel happier to escape the deep numbness that comes with not being sad or angry. Remi also moved out of the house and Arjean was moved to live with the Meis until she could control her better, only furthering her emotional instability.

My ideas for this situation is for someone to help her learn to cope with her trade. While she can't feel sadness, regret, or anger, she knows that she should be feeling those things when it comes to her family splitting apart, and she doesn't know how to solve it. Being able to talk to someone about her lack of emotions with sadness and anger may be what she needs to get better as a person.

Friends - Oluremi was known to keep to herself as the quiet girl at school or at the Community Center. She was prone to receding into the background like she did not exist, and when spoken to, she showed barely any expression in her face or tone in her voice. Now she has done a full redesign. She wears a human charm to give her a mostly human appearance, she wears makeup, she dresses in more vibrant and cutesy pink clothing, and she shows a lot more expression. She wants to be known as the attractive manic pixie dream girl. She still has trouble getting the persona right sometimes and will occasionally revert to how she was, but she has been making more of an effort to go out and make friends now. Oluremi is prone to getting quickly attached to people just because they showed her the bare minimum requirement for being kind, so she has a lot of people she looks up to and sometimes overestimates how close her relationship is with people. Because of Oluremi's immaturity, despite being 21 years old, Oluremi usually hangs out with people 16-19. Though she is not human and 21 is not considered an adult for her species.

Mentors - Despite Oluremi now trying to put up the persona as a confident manic pixie dream girl, she still displays a serious lack of confidence in herself. She does not consider herself pretty or cute enough, she feels she is too weak emotionally, and she thinks her personality needs a major redoing. Role models for Oluremi are people she looks up to and wants to be like, though whether that will help improve her or make her worse decides on the plot. She is prone to getting quickly attached to people just because they showed her the bare minimum requirement for being kind, so she has a lot of people she looks up to and sometimes overestimates how close her relationship is with people. There is no age limit for people she can look up to, but for a 21-year-old, she is pretty immature and mostly hangs out with teens in the 16-19 demographic. Though she is not human and 21 is not considered an adult for her species.

Friends - As a young child coming from a pretty rare, mostly unknown species to a new island, Arjean is having trouble getting used to the new environment they have to live in. I would like them to have some friends to get them used to the island and the people around them. Recently, they have been overwhelmed with people pointed out their species traits during class and asking them a lot of questions. They like to visit the school's library frequently to calm down and create fantasy worlds based off of the books they read. They also like to go to the forest for their frequent adventures, and will sometimes venture beyond the forest into other parts of the island. Of course, their family keeps a tracker on them just in case, or a family member accompanies them.

Good Influences - Arjean comes from a very chaotic family, and it partially has shown in their behavior. They are always anxious and try to keep to themself, and when they do speak to others, some of the stuff they say and the way they act can be seen as creepy or inappropriate. While good influences can be friends, acquaintances, etc., I would prefer if role models for them were older and more mature. They do not need to even be that much older, just a few years age difference. Role models for Arjean would include helping them learn ways to not be so nervous, sharing their interests, and possibly being a family figure to them.

Demons - Rei's views on demons are shaky at best and inconsistent at worst. He believes he should feel pride for being a demon, but feels shame and disgust towards being a Lust demon, believing that makes him innately sexual and that he will grow up to be a sexual predator of some sort. That has made him worry about aging at all, but he dislikes being a child Lust demon as well, finding "child" and "lust" to be incompatible, even if his abilities are not centered only on sexual lust. That, and just the general disrespect that comes with being a child his age.

Ideas for being demons for Rei's to interact with (always open to suggestions):

Family - Being a Hellion, Rei has an evergrowing list of family members he is still discovering. He thought he would be against being around them, thinking that they would be too violent, sexual, or both, but he has found himself wanting to know them more. Initially, he tried to distance himself from them, thinking they did fit into what he expected, but now whenever he sees a new family member, he wants to connect with them. Because he only lived with his mom and had a sheltered life, he can be somewhat clingy to relatives. It would be interesting for Rei to meet and talk to more members of his family, whether they be a good or bad encounter can be decided later.

Non-Family - Rei finds himself more comfortable around demons in general. When he learns someone is a demon, he gravitates towards them and likes pointing out their species to show their connection. It will be easier to get him to open up and befriend him just from that.

Good Influences -

Adult Demons - Adult demons are people Rei tries to be on his best behavior around. He wants to show he is mature around them and is more likely to stand close to them when he is feeling tense. It would be nice for Rei to have more adult demons to aspire to be like and keep him on better behavior when around.

Taking Off His Charm - I want someone to help Rei's self-confidence about his body and convince him that taking off his glamour is not that bad. He will be argumentative about it and it may take some time, but the goal is that he will be more comfortable traveling without his charm. In a way, this is him embracing his more demonic side.

Bad Influences - As a loudmouth child, during the first few months Rei's been on the island, he had already gotten himself a reputation at school as a bigot towards humans. He has verbally harassed and argued with humans (or those he mistook as humans) before getting a lecture by a teacher or a more prominent staff member. People have taken this as a good opportunity to make fun of Rei for being a demon and humanoid octopus, two things that made it fairly clear what type of sin he represented, which only worsened the jokes and rumors. Even after Rei has tried to relax his argumentative nature against humans and blend into the background, as well as utilize a charm to replace his eight cephalopod limbs with two legs, the rumors and jokes never truly went away.

Ideas for being Rei's bully (always open to suggestions):

Bullies - These are the regular bullies. People who spread rude jokes, rumors, or opinions about Rei. They could also outright confront him, publicly shaming him, or trying to start fights (whether verbal or physical, though Rei is very pacifistic when it comes to physical).

Manipulators - These people can come in different forms. They could try to encourage Rei's already bigoted views towards humans, make Rei feel worse about being a lust demon, or try to turn Rei against his family.

An idea I had is that they're paired together on a project since they might share a class together and then they'd have to visit on or the other's dorm to work on said project. I've been wanting to thread more in the dorms, so-

hmmmmm maybe a multi-grade class since Castiel is a lower grade. Maybe like a literature class since, in my experience, it always has the most projects. Another would be like a class devoted to powers.

For literature Avatia and Castiel could be trying to write up a story for creative writing, and for powers maybe they have to come up with an idea on how both of their powers could be used together to be even stronger? Sort of like a teamwork thing to show how different powers can be combined together and still work well.
