Edwin was born sometime during the Renaissance period in Naples. As a child, he was seen to have a budding talent for artistic endeavors and was sent to live and train under the patronage of one of the popular Naplolese families at that time. There he learned the art of painting, sculpting, drawing, weaving of tapestries, and music. He was also given an education where he excelled at science and math.

During his time with said family, Edwin (then known as Stefano San Aubino) flourished. At the age of 20, the height of his popularity as an artist, Edwin was commissioned to do a large mural by one of the wealthier houses in Naples. There, he met the ageless Signora Gioia who was known for her parties and her long list of lovers. She was also the vampire who would eventually turn Edwin.

From this moment until sometime during the early 1800s, Edwin lived and followed Gioia faithfully as her lover, advisor, and companion. He also Anglicised his name and became Edwin St. Aubwyn.

In 1805, fleeing the Napoleonic War, Gioia and Edwin decided to check out the Americas, ending up in the area of Oregan during the gold rush.

Finding America to be primitive und uncultured, Gioia decided to move back to Europe once the war was over. However, Edwin, who had fallen in love with the vastness and diversity of the country and its landscape, choose to stay, making Polaris Pass his home.

More recently, Edwin was out driving one night and came across a young man hitching along the side of the road. Deciding to give him a lift, Edwin took him into town and dropped him off at the local hostel. From there he took an interest in the young man's welfare, and with time and counseling, ended up eventually adopting him.

History:

Vlad was born the son of the son of a bastard of German royalty during the early years days of the German Empire. His father was concerned with businesses and finances. This left his mother, a woman of Slavic descent whose family had a history of hunting creatures of the dark. A history that they kept from those who were not blood, even their beloved husbands.

Throughout his childhood, Vlad was trained in secret by his mother and uncles in the arts of their family. Tracking and tracking were the beginning. Then the rites of banishment and purification. He took to it with glee, thinking himself a mighty hero in the making.

Such a life catches up to you though, as Vlad's mother found out when their home was attacked by the mate of a vampire they had destroyed years prior. She and her son were killed in what was called a wild animal attack. The father mourned, and this mourning kept Vladimir from finding peace.

For decades he was stuck. A ghost in his own home, shackled to the mortal plane. Until one day he wasn't. He was a boy of eight again, his father now a doddering old man remarried and with new children. Vladimir was called a demon and barely escaped with his life.

He found his mother's family. Fell in with them and resumed the Hunt. It was all he had now and he wanted revenge. Vladimir was nineteen when he found the vampiress and slew her. But he was turned in the process and killed those who had gone with him.

Once again, Vladimir eventually turned back to human. It took less time than before, but still long enough that he was pronounced dead by his family. He wanted to know why this happened and so he ventured into the world to seek answers.

Along the way, he encountered many more creatures of the night. Occasionally he would be killed or turned into one of the creatures, only to return to his humanity in incrementally shorter periods of time.

As time passed, Vladimir found that he could not so easily hate the creatures he had hunted for so long. He knew their pain and their hunger as well as he knew his own scars. The nature of his travels changed, and rather than hunt the so-called monsters of the world he decided to learn about and from them.

It was during his travels in the late twentieth century that he met an established clan of werewolves in the American Pacific Northwest. They mentioned to him a town, Polaris Point, where their kind could live peacefully and without needing to hide.

Vladimir moved to the area and there began his schooling. He eventually graduated with a medical degree and began to focus on the supernatural, specializing in vampiric and lycanthropic studies. He has yet to discover why he is forced to revert to human, but his work keeps him busy enough that it isn't much of a concern currently.

· Sterling was, originally, a Guardian Angel who was sent down to Earth to live among mortals. His mission was to guide them through their choices and keep them safe as well as learn about the human condition in the process.
·However, when he was called back to Heaven, he chose to stay on Earth among the humans he had come to love and understand instead. So with the Divine's permission and blessing, he relinquished his wings along with any duties related to his former position/life and now lives freely among the citizens of Polaris Point with no foreseeable plans to return to his celestial duties.

History:

Natasha was born a witch in the time of Catherine the Great in Russia. She is from a family of aristocrats and spent many of her formative years in the Russian court and later as a lady in waiting.

During her time as a lady-in-waiting, she met a very charming Viscount who would later turn her into a vampire against her will. This, ultimately, would lead to her leaving court life and all that she had known.

Afterward, Natasha, not knowing where to go or what to do, used her wiles to help her survive as she traveled to Southern Europe. There she managed to integrate herself into society as the mistress of a wealthy nobleman.

As time drew on, Natasha grew bored of high society and constantly having to disguise her appearance with wigs and make-up along with changing her name and backstory every few decades, often pretending to be the granddaughter or niece of the person she was impersonating when her never-aging appearance became a problem.

Deciding that Europe was no longer a place she could readily stay without her appearance being put in question, she ended up taking a ship across the Atlantic to the Americas. There she eventually made her way out west and ended up in Polaris Pass.

Fe's great great grandparents are from Portugal and like so many others came to America hoping to make their fortune during the Gold Rush. Unfortunately, the family found only the tiniest amount of gold, and not having money to move back to Europe decided to settle down near Polaris Pass after the mines collapsed.

With time her family moved back into the mining town and established themselves there permanently.

Fe and her family are aware of the supernatural, thanks in part to her grandmother, Maria Fe, who was said to be able to see ghosts and tell one's future using tea leaves.

Fe has always had a talent for music and a keen interest in fashion. She also has a flair for the dramatic and so becoming a Youtube at the age of 17 was not at all surprising to her friends and family.

Presently, Fe has a channel where she does her makeup/tries on clothes, and reads ghost stories or discusses the supernatural with her followers.

Harmonia is the daughter of Bacchus, Aphrodite, and Artemisa... a drunken fortnight of games, sex, and stupid bets lead to an experiment that only gods could make and which produced Harmonia.

The goddess grew up extremely spoilt and doted on by the three gods to the point that she thought she was better than the other gods and dared to talk back to Hera one day, calling her an old hag. This insolent behaviour was not to be tolerated any longer by Zeus, and Harmonia was promptly banished for a total of two thousand years to live among mortals on Earth in the hopes that she learns true humility and kindness.
