Appearance Description:
Zach, as a start, stands at 6’2. Along with this, he has a thin but still athletic build. His height and build, although nothing too unusual especially considering the residents of the island, he has an intimidating air around him.
He has darker toned skin, which doesn’t lighten or tan throughout the year. Lucky to have not received many injuries to his face, he has a good amount of scarring across his torso, top of arms, fingers and legs. His skin is rough to the touch.
He has short, somewhat scruffy white hair which can look a bit like a dirty grey depending the lighting.
He has steel grey eyes, which can look even darker in darker lighting. It can even almost border being black.
When Zach is roaming and casual, he’ll usually be wearing a t-shirt, and black bottoms of some kind. Usually jeans, but will wear something a little neater for work. When at work, he wears the uniform as usual.
But Zach usually wears different clothing. A peculiar kind as it seems it is part of his demon form. In this ‘form’ has black clothing, and darker grey armour on his torso, upper left shoulder, legs and boots. He has a shorter red cloak that reaches a little above his waist, with a hood usually pulled up. He has an additional red fabric attached to his waist, which is in similar length to his cloak and is able to reach just a bit below his knees. Wrapped around the lower half of his face is bandaging, in similar colour to his armour. The hood and bandages conceals his face pretty well. When either are removed, he is out of his demon form and is just wearing these clothes.
Personality Description: Zach has always had a quieter personality. He is not loud, and seems to have a disinterest in talking with others. Especially small talk. He doesn’t seem that awkward, though, and has a confidence to him. When he speaks to someone he doesn’t know well, he seems to speak like he’s simply wasting his breath on them. He has a prideful personality, but he rarely openly boasts. This is because he considers the things that would boast about to be so obvious, he shouldn’t even need to say anything.
Aside from fighting in the arena, something he enjoys quite a lot, he’s a rather quiet man with quiet interests. He enjoys reading, and playing board games. He’s prideful about himself, but even more so about his family. He’s quite competitive, but is rather oblivious to this. Offering a simple challenge can actually motivate him to work a lot harder to feed his own pride. Pretty much thrives on praise.
Active Abilities: ‘Demon Form’ - Zach has perfected his shifting, and the use of his ‘demon form’. Zach is able to freely shift into demon form, and able to return back to human form by showing his face, either by taking down his hood or removing the bandages on his face. Both can be forcefully removed, creating a weakness with his demon form. If wearing clothing prior to changing, they will seemingly burn and be replaced. Upon changing back to human form, he will keep the clothing and can change back simply by covering his face again. After removing all clothing, they will disappear and the clothes that Zach had on previously will reappear.
Frenzy - By willingly losing control, Zach gains a strength and speed boost at the cost of control. This can be used in human and demon form. When used in human, he is able to lift around 525kg, and run up to 20m/h. If done in demon form, he is able to lift around 2840kg, and run up to 40m/h. However, his lack of control removes inhibitors on strength. Human form is not as bad, but overuse of his extra strength and speed in his demon form has the potential to cause serious injury onto Zach. His lack of control can mean that he struggles to deactivate frenzy, and could even attack wrong targets. Control is worst in demon form.
Passive Abilities: Demon Physiology/Clothing - In his demon form, Zach has increased strength and speed. Being able to lift around 450kg, and run 20m/h. In demon form, the armour he wears can deflect sharp objects, and even slow down bullets. I’m human form, the armour provides good protection against sharp objects, but no protection to high impact attacks. Has a mild regenerative factor in demon form, milder cuts will take a few hours to heal compared to days.
Immortality - Zach no longer ages and will not die due to old age. If he is killed, he will respawn in pride hell 3 days later. He can then return to Manta Carlos from there.
Hellion Detection - He is able to detect other hellions, and which sin that they represent.
Weaknesses: Holy Weakness - Zach takes more damage from holy items and symbols, no matter the religion. He is unable to go upon holy grounds. If he is killed by a holy item, he will not be able to respawn, thus killing him permanently.

Biography: Zach was born in pride hell from a short relation between his mother, a pride demon who lived in the hell, and his father, Lucifer. For the first three years of his life, Zach lived in pride hell and was treated like royalty.
But then his mother moved to live on Manta Carlos, and he went with her.
His mother started working, they lived in a small apartment together, and life was cozy but nice. But then, while Zach was 4, his mother met an angel at work. His mother’s initial reaction was dislike of the angel, and Zach shared the feeling. After around 6 moths, his mother’s colleague had a daughter by the name of Jake. Initially, Zach found it hilarious. But then he realised his mother said this with a somewhat affection.
From there on, he tried everything to prevent any sort of relationship forming between his mother and the angel. All of his attempts failed, and after a year of knowing each other, his mother started dating the angel. He continued his efforts stubbornly, too prideful to give up. But after an additional year, the pair got engaged. This only fuelled Zach’s dislike.
A mere week before his mother and the angel were to be married, the angel sat down with Zach and chatted to him. She knew that it must be hard for Zach, but she wanted to try and be another parent for him. The young girl, now 3 at the time, was present. When she saw Zach’s initial reaction of disgust, she hugged him believing him to be upset. He gave in, finally.
His mother and now step-mother named their family ‘Lied’.
Zach turned his attitude about the family around, and became an older brother to Jay, his step-sister. He even became fiercely proud of what his family was. They were a little messy, sure, but he really considered it home.
Growing up, he was a protective older brother to Jay, and didn’t do well academically. He dropped out of high school at 16, but managed to get a job pretty quick. It was during this time he started training for fighting. By 19, he had switched jobs several times before he got the retail job he currently does. He also started new career as arena combatant.
