Was it weird to say that Emery had a strange fondness to the water? It called him in from time to time, as if his native land was trying to reach out to him once more. In his mind, he went to the water for his own wanting. He tricked himself, but he knew that the people back home were looking for him. Emery had no reason to go back, no one that he wanted to see there. He sighed, clutching his chest has he looked down at his lower half they was covered in sand. It was soothing in the sense that the sand was cold and easily moved below him. The man made some sand angels and just enjoyed the sunshine as it came down on him. He hummed a tune of his people, before a load horn woke him from his daze.
Emery searched around, getting ready to kiss or kill whoever or whatever was making that noise. It was a boat that was coming to the pier, the place he had just left from. As he gazed onto it, he saw the cutest little thing come out. Emery flushed, covering his face as he tried not to squeal out loud. The person was cute, and Emery wanted that cuteness. With a bolt of energy, he rose up and pushed the sand off of him. His lower half was a tad damp due to the tide, but that didn't matter. With a huff, he sprinted up onto the pier again, standing there for a moment as he waited for the other person to make eye contact with him. The second the pinkie person was even remotely staring in his general direction, Emery sprinted and tackled them to the ground. He wrapped his arms around before kissing them deeply, like they were long lost lovers. With a big smile, he sat on the person's hips as he untangled himself. "Hi!"
