Ok, so, I have a sorta vagueish idea for Cris.

I have my vampires Nathan, as you'll see in his bio he has a lot of bad stuff in his past that the police would have been involved in. He was forcibly turned but refused to turn in who did it, largely because of fear and confusion and his abusive cult member then held him hostage. It all ending with him spending a year on the islets because of him becoming unstable because of a combination of his trauma and his new vampire abilities developing.

So maybe she was the detective in charge of his case(s)? She could even still be keeping an eye on him in case he ever decides to turn in the guy to turned him?
