They were cutting it close... Too close... The sun had started to set and the pair still had to get from the apartment to the school where a sealed room awaited Narraine. She could feel it already, the effects of the moon, even though it wasn't high in the sky yet. She could feel the longing, the wanting, the need. But so far her rational mind still remained in control, for how long she could't say, which was why they needed to be fast.
For months now she had not feared the effects of the moon, as Jared had been there to keep her in line, or at least keep her from wandering the streets. Now, though, with him not here there was a real risk that she could get into trouble, and end up hurting someone or even herself. "Damnit Jared... I wish you were here." She whispered to her bathroom mirror, as she looked at her own reflection. Narraine had been lucky that Raul was here, she had explained how the moon affected her and had asked him to make sure she was able to get to the school, where she might be contained until the moon set in the morning. She was also lucky that Aylin was able to spend the night here to keep an eye on Iesha. Somehow, everything had managed to work out alright.
She sighed gently as she quickly exited the bathroom. Narraine gave Iesha a hug, as best as she could, and informed the girl she would be home in the morning. She made sure Aylin had the emergency contact information and everything she might need for the night. And with nothing else left to do she exited the apartment with Raul.
"Thank you... I really appreciate yer help. I would honestly be terrified that I wouldn't make it if you weren't here." She said looking up at the Dragon, in his human form, with a weak smile. She didn't know how to tell him that she was starting to feel her urges becoming stronger as she feared he might think less of her. It was so embarrassing to think that the moon would soon cause her to be unable to control herself.
Narraine had always noticed that Raul was a handsome man, and being a powerful dragon meant that from a biological perspective he was a superior mate. Now, though, he was looking more and more attractive by the minute. She could feel her body warming up with feelings of lust, but she needed to control herself. "Raul... I'm... We need to hurry." She said with a small huff as they exited the apartment building and began to make their way to the school.
