The sun had set a couple hours ago, and in true vampire fashion Izzy had set off for the night, taking to the air in search of a victim, that she could sink her teeth into. she had yet to attack anyone, at any point in her life since becoming a vampire, but she was determined that tonight was the night. tonight she had someone in mind, a Demon, who had called her out several times now. Rufus. Tonight she would show him what a true killer looked like, and when his body was found in the morning the papers would go crazy with headlines of a super predator on the loose. At least that's the way she envisioned it in her head. The truth of the matter was she was terrified as she flew towards his estate. She had no idea how she was going to go about killing him, or even if she could. Maybe he was more powerful than he had let on, and this was all a trick to lure her to him. Or maybe she wasn't the killer she hoped she could be.
Either way, this was weird. She had spent time with him in Didney Worl. She had gotten to know him, even enjoyed herself with him. Which made her feel regret at the thought of killing him. She didn't want to. Not really. But, she couldn't back down now. Not when she was already on the way. He would call her out, and everyone would make fun of her. She couldn't handle that. She needed to follow through and take things seriously. She had to kill him.
It wasn't long before she had found his home, and she took her time circling overhead. It served two purposes. The first being that it gave her the chance to case the estate, take note of any security or staff on site. The second and most important was that it gave her a chance to psych herself up to the task at hand.
After a few moment's she had worked herself up enough and swooped in, landing on a balcony to what she assumed would be the bedroom of Rufus. She took her time now, shifting into her human form, before pressing her face against the window. Glare from a nearby light obscured her vision, but she was certain this was the right room. The question now was how to get in. She could break a window, though that might alert her prey and his security to her presence.
She sighed quietly as she reached for the handle and twisted it ever so slowly. *click* just like that the balcony door clicked open and swung easily on its hinges. She almost couldn't believe her luck. But then, luck had nothing to do with it. Clearly, she had had Rufus so spooked that he had forgotten to lock the window. Classic mistake, and it would prove to be a fatal one at that.
She grinned as she pushed the door open, stepping inside and closing it behind her without a sound. This was almost too easy she thought as she began to creep her way deeper into the room. One thing was for sure, Rufus was certainly well off. His room reminded her of her own back home. She was focused on the bed now, she could see it silhouetted in the moonlight, that was where Rufus was, that was where she would kill him. She would do it quickly and in his sleep so he wouldn't have to suffer. That would be her last gift to him.
As she neared the bed she noticed something. Not far off from her was a chair, with some clothes laid out neatly on it. She recognized the style and knew they had to be Rufus's clothes for tomorrow. She was torn for a moment as a new thought crept into her head. What would it feel like to actually be Rufus? It was just a curiosity, but somehow it pulled at her thoughts til she found herself standing in front of a mirror, while she undressed from her own clothing and began to dress in the Pride demons outfit.
The fabrics were high quality and felt amazing on her skin. And she could tell they had been tailored for him as they didn't fit like normal clothing. "figures he would have such expensive clothes." She thought while looking at herself in the mirror. A
She was so focused on what she was doing, that she didn't notice the Figure sitting on a chair in the corner.
