Wherever you are. Whatever you're doing. A screen nearby flickers to life or changes abruptly. And on this screen appears a sight that is only slightly more strange than average to the typical islander. A grey squirrel, dressed in garish Willy Wonka-esque attire steps into view, twirling an umbrella.
"Good morning Manta Carlos! Sorry for the interruption, but I do have a flair for the dramatic. Welcome! To the first month of the Year of Gods! I'm your host with the most, Mr. Seeeeeeeeptember. And boy do we have a show for you?
You see, Manta Carlosians... Carlosites... what do you people call yourselves? Anyway. I have a competitive streak as long as my tail, so I've put together a little maze for you folks. Anyone can join, but only in groups of Three. Complete the challenges and make it to the end, and you could win... one wish from your truly! There's a couple of secret prizes too, so be on the lookout.
To sign up, simply offer a high five, fist bump, or other hand-to-hand contact of friendship and agreement of your choice to any squirrel you see. I can't wait to see how you all do. Ta-ta for now."
And then the screens returned to normal.

For this event, we'll be running it in several parts. The first big breakdown is whether you can/want to participate in the ICC or in a speed thread on the forum.
The ICC will run back to back, with breaks in between, over the weekend of the 29-30 of September.
Players will be expected to be available during their assigned time slot. If you can't be available, please let the staff know ASAP so you don't hold other players up.
The forum will be a speed thread with both a time (completed by the end of the month) and a post limit.
Sign up below with which slot you can go into. All times are site time (PST). Each member may only put in one character at this time. However we may open up more slots based on initial participation. If you're interested in throwing a second character in to fill up a trio as needed, please note you want to, and which character you'll be throwing in.
