Private Finished Yeah, Candy's Overrated Anyway

Violeta easily kept pace with Shiro but let her lead, remaining beside her. A friend walking right there to make sure she got home safe and to keep her company until she got there. She could have been silent, maybe should have been silent so Shiro could think through things but instead she decided to softly hum something. She didn't even know if the song actually had words or even if it was something she was making up. It just felt like something she wanted to do.

"You know it's kind of funny. In the movies walking home at night with someone who's really a vampire is supposed to be a bad thing. Here I would argue it's probably one of the better things that could have happened tonight," she giggled a little as she remembered some terrible horror movie or other.

It took a little longer than usual to walk back to the dorms since they weren't really in too much of a hurry bit after a while they began to approach the buildings. Violeta was not planning on going inside but she would walk Shiro to the door.

Violeta laughed at Shiro giggling and making little jokes and she tried to match the humming with her own. Even better than seeing the girl laughing was tasting that she was feeling more upbeat than she had been. It was a far cry from what she had been sensing from her when they left the community center. "Hey, i've been bitten before plenty of times. Don't have to tell me that some of them are worse than others," Violeta winked. "I'd better not hear of you getting bit though." She sure as hell wasn't going to go into the details of her bites. That would have been unpleasant and uncomfortable for both of them.

Working to help people stop feeling so bad was not an easy thing for Violeta to do. It went against the hunger that drove her to seek out and feed on emotions. But it felt good to help Shiro. She felt oddly protective of the girl. If this was what having a little sister was like she was pretty sure she was ok with that.

"Hey really I don't mind walking with you any time you need it," she said as she hugged Shiro back, "daylight or not. I've got a good cloak." Violeta stood there and watched to make sure the girl made it inside before she turned away to text Eon and see what he was up to. A few moments later she was casually walking off and quietly singing to herself.
